When checking in on 04/13/24 around 6pm the gentleman that stated he was the assistant manager was not polite or professional. He was not helpful in familiarizing us at all with the property. He did not address my wife and I nor look up at us for some time. I asked for a bell cart & he said that Valet would provide one as he doesn’t do that. When I went back to valet, they said they do not provide bell carts & that we would need to go back to front desk & rushed my wife & I out with all of our luggage from the vehicle without a bell cart which was very overwhelming and stressful. It was a horrible first impression. Additionally, the same assistant manager provided us with the wrong code to get into the property gate. We were stuck outside at the beach area around 8pm for about 20 minutes until we finally got someone’s attention to help us to get in. I brought everything to the assistant managers anttention & he did not care or show any concern and was non apologetic. I asked for the manager so I can share my bad experience and he said he’s the only manager. However Fernando up front was very pleasant. Fernando also helped familiarize us with the property and providing a map and recommended restaurants etc. The lobby and 7th floor tile floors were always very dirty and sticky even though I asked for it to be cleaned. Valet kept closing out our account so we were delayed & always having to make a new account. There were holes in the pillow cases.
