Beautiful suite looking to intercostalPosted Nov 14, 2014
Pros: view, spacious suite, kitchen
Cons: loud a/c on and off
Location: right on the intercoastal - watch the awesome boats go by and the bridge go up... i love it
We had a king suite. It was really nice. Kitchenette was awesome - exactly like in the pictures. No issues whatsoever - though A/C clicking on and off was a bit loud.

Great location and terrific views of the waterwayPosted Nov 4, 2014
Pros: Bright airy modern feel to the rooms and lobby. Perfect location for our activities in town.
Cons: Charging a daily rate for WIFI is irritating in today's travel environment. Tourist grade family hotels that cost half as much have free WIFI.
Nice contemporary rooms with lots of light and comfortable furnishings. Upscale dining and entertainment options nearby. The water taxi stop at the hotel was very convenient.

Loved the artwork in the lobby. The room had a very modern & classy look to it. Breakfast buffet was very good but pricey. Starbucks conveniently located in the lobby. Courtyard scenery was beautiful, right beside drawbridge. Close to great places: beaches, pf changs & blue martini. Valet parking ONLY...their downfall: $28!

Clean, convenient, very comfortablePosted Oct 27, 2014
We stayed at Gallery One at the last minute after checking out of a neighboring hotel that did not meet expectations. We made the right decision staying at Gallery One. The suite was extremely comfortable and very clean...not to mention, the room was huge! With some time to kill, we had time for a nice lunch out at the outdoor bar and watched the boats drive by on the intercostal waterway. The bartender Fernando was awesome! He was funny, courteous, and have great advice about the area. I highly recommend this hotel. We will certainly stay there again on our next visit.

The Long WeekendPosted Oct 24, 2014
Pros: The dining room staff was wonderful and the breakfast excellent. The beds were very comfortable. Location on the water is great!
Cons: Housekeeping, employees should give solutions, not excuses, they obviously feel bad, but were not willing/able to make things better.
Location: Water Taxi, Galleria Mall, close to restaurants and some basic shopping.
We have stayed here before and enjoyed our time. We arrived from the airport around 8 pm and wanted to check into our room. It was not ready, they apologized and offered a free cocktail, the regular bar tender was on break, so we settled for simple drinks. Around 9:45 our room was finally ready. The hotel staff (after begging) offered free breakfast. Spoke to the Mgr the next day and all he really had to offer was excuses. The next day, we went about our itinerary, returned to the hotel at 4:30 pm and our room was not cleaned during the day. They apologized and said they would do something special for us. We never received consistent towels, tp was in short supply.(clearly there is a housekeeping issue) The hot tub in the pool area was hot, but no jets worked. Upon the 2nd cleaning snafu, they offered 10,000 points to our Hiltons Honors. There was a critter scratching noise between 11:30 and midnight each night...not sure if it was on the roof or what. We requested a late check out since our flight didn't leave till late and had to really beg for that, after we didn't get to check in till 9:45 pm on arrival, I didn't feel this was outragious. Came back to get ready for the airport and we were locked out of our room....just an inconvenience that added to the rest of the issues. Then we requested a cab 45 minutes prior to when we needed one and still waited nearly 45 minutes as the valet's gave cabs to others...and ours didnt arrive.

Pros: Access to everything. Really did not need a car.
Location: Everything is accessible or within walking distance. Water Taxi was great way to spend the day also.
Great hotel which is close to the beach. Less than 5 min walk and great outlet for morning runs. Hotel staff was very helpful. Access to Water Taxi was right at the rear of the hotel. Just truly a good place to stay.

Great HotelPosted Sep 29, 2014
My sister and I really enjoyed our stay at the Gallery One and would not hestitate to stay here again. The staff were really friendly and helpful and went beyond the call of duty. The location is prefect for those who do not wish to rent a car. You are in walking distance to everything including great public transit. Our room accomodations were really nice as well
