“Great Inn if on a Budget”

My sister and I went to Ft. Lauderdale-by-the-Sea to visit family. We were on a tight budget and wanted to be within walking distance. This place was perfect. Completely remodeled. We stayed in the King Motel room. Clean and the bed was comfortable. I don't need much so I was happy. Free WiFi was good. Publix is right across the street and the beach is a 5 min walk from the motel. Commercial pier is about a 10 min walk with all the shops and restaurants. This is not a posh hotel, it is a family run Inn. Just like I like. Next time I will upgrade to the efficiency room so I can have a kitchen, too. Thanks, Mark, for letting us have a late checkout.

“Great low cost hotel close to the beach!”

We spent an extra day in Ft. Lauderdale after a cruise and booked a room here for a night. The best part was that we called in the morning to see if we could drop our bags in the hotel, since check in wasn't until 3PM ...they said sure, but would try to have a room ready for us. They let us check in over 4 hours early with no extra cost or hassle. Everything else was great also ....nice clean room close to the beach, friendly staff, extra towels, low cost, good internet connection, etc. Everything perfect!

“Great Place close to the beach for a great price”

Great Mom and Pop hotel one block from Lauderdale by the Sea Beach. Newly renovated, nice decor, pool small but nice. Staff was very accommodating. The room we had booked did not have a kitchen but had a refrigerator and they brought us a coffee maker upon request. Not a lot of frills but nice and clean, great value for the money. Would stay there again.

“MIRACULOUS FIND!! GREAT ESCAPE INN”

Great Escape Inn was a tremendous and wondrous surprise!! Totally renovated..with all you need and want...Really comfortable beds, heated pool, impeccably clean...beautiful palm trees, heated pool, fully stocked kitchen...even a brand new washer. dryer ! Plus a barbecue and heated pool! Will definately go back and recommend highly.

“Great locally owned motel”

This motel has excellent service and management. They're bend over backwards helpful. The location is super, a 3 min. walk to the beach and about 5 to restaurants and the big grocery store. Ample parking immediately in front of the property for guests too.

“Excellent place for a nice time.”

This is one of the nicest places I have stayed in a long time. The rooms are decorated very nicely. Excellent location to the beach. There is a court yard outside the lower rooms and we met and had drinks with other guests. Met some wonderful people from Canada. Really felt at home. Pool is very nice. This is not a chain hotel which made it even nicer. I will go back to this hotel every time I visit Lauderdale area. The beach is not crowded at all. Close to stores and the night life in the area.

“Very clean hotel”

This hotel was one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. We had a wedding to attend and only stayed 1 night. We will be back to stay again.

“Good Value clean and inexpensive”

Very Clean but older building. Staff very courteous. Definatley would stay again good value, about a two minute walk to the beach.
