This property was about 2.5 miles to the ocean, restaurants and souvenirs. And going the opposite direction leaving hotel . It was about 2.5 miles to shopping . Marshall’s and TJ Maxx

The deadbolt on our door did not close properly; so we could not keep anybody out that had a key card. My mother-in-law did not feel safe staying the night.

We drove from Canada and arrived early for our reservation. Staff was friendly and allowed us to check in 2 hours early. We were so grateful for that as we needed some rest. Room was very spacious, and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

It's a Hampton Inn. I love them. Same comfort I'm used to. However, the front desk lady was quite unwelcoming. Took her a little too long to check me in. As if she didn't want to there. That was my only disappointment

We spend a week here during our move to the area. The kind suite worked so well with our two dogs. Enjoyed the breakfast bar and pool everyday. Staff was very accommodating and friendly.

The bad: rough sheets, pillow with no substance. Single ply toilet paper! Soap & shampoo bolted to the wall like it's some kind of prison, no shower pressure leading to very long shower times. TV did not have entertainment menu. Alarm clock was "pre-programmed" for a surprise midnight alarm. Spotted spiders several times on walls, and saw boot prints that weren't mine on the entryway like it had not been mopped properly. "Restaurant" amenity is mostly fake, nothing available to order. Hot breakfast area was pretty small and kind of chaotic with one rude masked guest in particular shoving himself in your way and no one around to make him be civilized. There are no accessible entrances except for the front, which was very inconvenient as I was placed on a far wing and it was a long walk. Facilities in general were pretty rough with slow elevators and buttons that do not light. Good side: Climate control was very easy to set for automatic, perfect for cold nights hot days. Lots of plugs. Mini-fridge worked very well. Mixed stuff: Had a great experience checking out with the Monday front desk, and Sunday morning was nice seeing cheerful faces. On check in, though, an employee was wheeling empty carts, made eye contact with me, saw me carrying 3 bags by myself and didn't offer any help, let alone let me use one. Overall, the experience was less than I had hoped for considering the price.

This Hampton Inn was in the process of upgrading and we didn’t have an onsite laundry which was inconvenient. I totally understand how hotels need to be upgraded and remodeled at times, but it would have been nice to have a heads up before booking. The staff was really nice and helpful and I will be coming back again. It does have a good location for us.

The hotel looks like new. Very clean. Nice breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Water dispenser in the lobby was very helpful. We did not need to buy bottled water. By the way, at reception you can get bottled water and little snacks for free.

Good stay, but trash for breakfast
I already had thoughts of construction from my last visit to the hotel. This was no different. But at least it was 1st floor renovations. That was until I woke and went for breakfast. Last time they had eggs and meat. But this time for some reason they had jimmy dean sandwiches to be heated in a microwave. Not what I expected from this hotel.

Construction killed the stay
This was a usual stop for me, even under construction I expected at least a quality hotel. Biggest issue was there was no water pressure. Making a shower about impossible. And it was either cold or extremely hot water. Felt like I hade to wait for another room to stop showering etc. to have water and consistent temperature. Checking in I was able to use the restroom while the attendee handled another customer. But when I returned he stayed on his phone for a few minutes while I stood there. Food one morning was ok but stale sausage. Next day I didn't eat because the eggs looked like they still had un mixed powder.

This property overall is about 2.5 to 3.0 stars. Staff was friendly and helpful. There was construction going on inside the hotel when we checked in after 6:30, it was very noisy until around 8pm. This property could use some attention to details; dirty hallways (carpet and floor boards); Office chair arm rest was broken, toilet seat was loose; toilet tank was leaking water and running; presentation of breakfast and dining area could use some attention (better organization and cleaning). My stay was disappointing, expected the place to be better kept, hope this helps the hotel and visitors to this hotel.

The room smelled like an ashtray. The view is literally a wall, and the bathroom walls are disgusting. I stay at Hampton Inn's often and this is by far the worst.

The hotel itself is not well kept. Room was clean but just the property seems run down. 1st night our room had a broken toliet flusher and the maintenance crew left early (at 8pm) so no one could fix it. So we had to move rooms at midnight. Just seemed very inconvenient and nothing was really done to make it better aside of them changing our room

We arrived hours before check in and our room was available for us. The staff was extremely nice and helpful...we had trouble with the a/c unit and in less than 5 minutes someone came to our room and serviced it. The bathroom wasn't as clean as i would have liked and definitely needs to be updated.
