The room was clean. Bed was very comfortable. We were disappointed that there was not a refrigerator in the room. It was a good place to stay close to the airport.

Convenient Location

Pros: Convenient location
Cons: needs some carpet replacement in the hallways
Location: Visited Anthony 84 and was told a short walk, it is more of a 1 mile walk along a busy street with minimal lighting. I
This hotel is older and needs a few improvements. Location was extremely convenient to the airport and the ship terminal. Grocery store and liquor stores very close for those last minute items you need before you sail.

Cons: all was OK
Location: Katherine suggested the German Restaurant for dinner, the bus took us there and also picked us up after. This was a great service and was appreciated
The hotel was very busy and when we arrived the lobby and the other public space was filled with departing guests. This was not a problem as they all departed to board a cruise within an hour . I want to mention Katherine at the front desk. She was very professional and pleasant. Answered all my questions superbly and helped to get us to the room fast. The room was very clean, nice and comfortable. Thank you Katherine!!

Our Atlantic crossing finale

Pros: Location, and everything else.
After a fantastic 15 day cruise from Barcelona across the Atlantic and ending in Fort Lauderdale, we had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were more than helpful during our stay. As our flight was not until 9:30 PM the next day, the manager allowed us to stay in our room until 7 PM for a nominal fee. Our room was spotless, large and very quiet. We will definitely plan to stay here again. Thank you.

Quiet part of town

Pros: Large room,nice showers and a decent sized pool. The staff was excellent. the breakfast was above par with excellent waitstaff
Cons: Hot tub near the pool
Small mall nearby with a wendys and mcdonalds. No other decent sit down restaurants

Cons: All staff should be as friendly as Ashlee...
Close to port everglade, free wifi, free airport shuttle, free breakfast, ya the hotel is bit old, but decent and convenient. Only issue, front desk staff L**y. Asked her to call for a taxi, she said she'll call this "taxi" company that the hotel always works with, and it's "cheaper". I said I just need a local taxi but she said for 4 people, we need 2 cars. I said no, we have no luggage, one taxi is enough. She still ended up calling this "taxi" company who charges $6/person, so $24 in total. I said, no, Google estimated taxi ride to the port is only $9, she said ya, but there's lost of traffic. I showed her Google map, all green. Then she said said ya, but good luck trying to get a taxi at this time... She sounded rude and aggressive throughout the entire conversation. Anyway... I ended up calling a taxi myself, taxi came in less than 4 min, got to the port for less than $15 including tip. It's just unprofessional that hotel staff tries to rip off their guests.

Location: The hotel is about a fifteen minute drive from the water taxis on the intercoastal waterway. Definitely worth the time and cost to experience.
We stayed at the hotel following a cruise. When we arrived the hotel was packed with guests arriving. The staff was exceptionally helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. We stayed for three nights and found the staff to be exceptionally helpful with anything we needed, from recommending activities to arranging transportation for us.
