“Friendly service, could improve somethings”

I felt everyone was very friendly. I thought the cleaning wasn't what I expected (hair on the bathroom floor for example#. The room was quite nice #3133). I sleep easily, but the music from the outside bar was loud and not even good. Also, the air conditioning in the public areas was quite cold. However, saying that, the personnel was quite nice and helpful.

“Great hotel. No so great fees.”

Although our stay was brief (1 night), we had an excellent stay. The rooms and main areas were clean and attractive. It was convienently located across the street to the convention center. However I was caught off guard by the mandatory $21 self-parking or $25 vallet parking fee. That to me is outrageous and not worth it. Mapquest did not give accurate directions to find the hotel which you have to turn down a side street along side the bridge to get to it.

“Pre- or Post-Cruise Location”

Perfect location to cruise ships, walking distance to shops and breakfast or across the bridge to the beach, lovely pool.

“Cruising”

This was a nice place to stay. I was upset that the listing said that the hotel had complimentary shuttle service to and from the Fort Lauderdale airport and the Port Everglades (the nearby cruise port) We were VERY disappointed to find out that his was inaccurate information. It should be corrected on the site!

“loved it”

This Hilton was outstanding. When I got there a bus load of people had just arrived and I thought great I am going to be waiting all night to check in. To me delight the front desk staff got them all check in super quick. The only negative thing I could say is that I reserved a grand view room and when I checked in it was not ready and they offered me a lesser room which was very nice but it was not what I reserved. Sort of strange since it was 8 o'clock at night. But overall I have to say I would definitely stay here when I am in Ft Lauderdale again.

“Great hotel before you go on a Cruise”

The hotel was great. We had a beautiful view from our room. The hotel was walking distance to the ship and to the water taxi which was convenient. The desk clerk gave us an excellent room and we were able to check in early.

“A very pleasant experience. I would stay again.”

Rachel at the front desk was very patient and helpful with check-in. You may consider adding some agents to registration / check-out when cruises are arriving / leaving. I had to wait at least 20 minutes to check-in as there were only about 3 agents at the desk and many customers in line. One of the buildings' carpeting smelled like mildew, it was really unpleasant. Luckily, I only had to pass through that building to get to my room and was not staying there. I would have asked to be relocated if such was the case. The scenery and pool were both wonderful.
