A great spot to get over jet lag and relax before

Posted Apr 14, 2015
Pros: Ambience, room rate.
Location: Close the cruise terminal - you can walk if you wish
All good. We booked online and were allocated a ground floor room in the conference wing which backed on to the Marina. We ate at the Nanking restaurant which is modern Asian (and good). The staff were helpful in getting a cab to the cruise terminal (which is cheaper than shuttle).

Nice Hotel/ Great pool

Posted Apr 10, 2015
Pros: Nice pool area, great lounge chairs. Beds were really nice with beautiful linens
Cons: Food prices could be better especially the breakfast buffet. More lounge chairs at the pool.
Location: Near the airport and the cruise port. A short walk to many restaurants
We stayed 2 extra days after a cruise. The staff was very helpful getting cabs, helping with luggage etc. We were a party of 10 needing 5 rooms. Most of the rooms were ready at 11am which was great. We were able to change and go to the pool. Our rooms were roomy and on the canal side we had a very nice balcony. Beds were comfy and there was a nice size bathroom with lots of fluffy towels. A nice bar and grill were located at the pool where you could have lunch without changing out of your bathing suit. The only drawback is that the food was very expensive. Lunch with sodas, salad, and a hamburger w/fries was around $40.00 with a tip. The breakfast buffet which we did not go to was 25.00 per person. Dennys was a short cab ride away.

Great hotel on waterway

Posted Apr 8, 2015
Pros: We enjoyed the location, the yachts, and eating dinner on the outside patio by the waterway.
Cons: Nothing
This is a wonderful hotel surrounded by luxurious yachts and great on-site amenities. It's also very convenient to the cruise port.

Nice hotel, good location for cruising out of

Posted Apr 7, 2015
The hotel was a good price given its proximity to the marina. We were taking a cruise and wanted something that would be close by but didn't cost a fortune. We arrived very early at 11 so our room wasn't ready but for only $30 reception said I could bump up to a pool view courtyard room that was ready immediately. I took it. It was a lovely room with a small balcony and you could see the pool and the marina. The pool was nice, the gym was small but had an outdoor portion which was a nice option. Very clean hotel and friendly staff. We went to the Asian restaurant inside for dinner and it was fabulous. We were offered a transfer to the ship from the hotel for only $7 or 6 a person which was an excellent price. Overall a very good experience. The only thing I found was the concierge desk seemed to be rarely staffed, and beside it they had delicious infused ice water but never any cups! But definitely if I cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale again (which I hope to) I would definitely stay there again.
