A waste of money!!!!Posted Mar 3, 2015
Staff lack communication I had to pay an additional $25 to check in at 2:30pm because check in time was not until 4pm...in addition to having to pay for parking which was $25 and was extremely far from my room I order room service it was delivered in plastic ware and as cold this hotel is not cheap I stayed at several chains of hotelswhich include Holiday Inn, Riu and Crowne Plaza just to name a few and I truly would have to say that this was the worst by far for my money.

Nice for a quick tripPosted Feb 26, 2015
Pros: Close proximity to the Port Everglades and the beach.
Overall was an okay stay. Rooms are nice as you would expect but they seem to be short staffed in the dining areas.

Two nights at Hilton Fort LaughterdalePosted Feb 26, 2015
Pros: The hotel is in a great location.
Cons: The hotel is showing its age in the bathrooms and wood work.
Location: Very good.
We found the check in employees very unresponsive and not friendly. Rushed us through check in with very little conversation and expression. We owned a retail store for 38 years. We know the first employee that is met sets the impression for the whole business.

Hilton MarinaPosted Feb 25, 2015
Location: Good location with access to all the major roads
I was disturbed that Expedia actually booked a handicapped room for me. I did not realize it was handicapped accessible until I had already unpacked. When I mentioned it to the front desk, they responded "that's what Expedia booked for you" Although I am very thankful every day that I can walk on my own feet, considering the set up of the room, it was a bit uncomfortable but I made it through the 1 night stay.

1 night stay prior to cruise departurePosted Feb 25, 2015
Pros: Able to check-in late/offered late check-out
Cons: Cleanliness, friendliness of stsff
Location: Ft. Lauderdale: offered many sights/activities. We stayed here because it was close to Port Everglades
I booked this hotel for my family of four (me, my husband/ 2 young boys) for one night prior to boarding our cruise. Several people that this was a great hotel, so I took their word for it, to say the least, I was disappointed. We were delayed traveling from NY, so we did not get to the hotel until 9:30 PM & we were exhausted-at least our room was available. For the price I paid, I expected a much cleaner-well kept room & facilities. The lobby was deceiving-because once we walked to the elevators the ambience was totally different. The walls, doors & flooring of the hallways were dirty, scuffed & in disrepair. The ice machine on our floor was broken and leaking all over. We told one of the housekeeping staff on our floor, but she just shrugged. Our room was not as dirty as the hallway, but there were long hairs all over (I have very short hair & so do my husband/sons). The bathroom was dirty, of the three lights in the bathroom only two worked-in fact one of the bulbs was broken. The gift shop had a hand written sign at 9:45 PM saying, "Back in 10 minutes." The hours stated it closed at 10:00 PM. I found this odd, but returned to the gift shop by 9:55 PM to purchase beverages, the handwritten sign was gone, lights were off and door was locked. I did see a woman inside and gestured to her to come to the door-she scowled at me, shook her head no & shooed me off with a wave of her hand. I told the front desk staff all of this and they offered me points on my Hilton account.

Best view we every had!Posted Feb 25, 2015
Pros: Location and view from the tower.
Cons: Better beds.
Location: Perfect location, lots of activity, walk the docks, ate at 15th Street Fish House, food EXCELLENT!
To wake up and see the ocean, inter coastal water way and the activity on the water was perfect from the 12th floor. The Grill restaurant was excellent food and service, we ate right next to the water. Beds are a little small, could use a queen or king. Watch out for the corners you will hit your feet! We had a problem getting our traveling guests checked in and when their room was ready it turned out to be OUR room!! We feel that the staff did correct the issue and they comped them some drinks and reduced their nights rate, all good! We will definitely use this hotel again!

Nice Hotel Close To Dowtown NassauPosted Feb 22, 2015
Hotel was in a great location - 1 minute walk to a variety of restaurants and bars. Also next to the cruise terminal so plenty of boats to watch, whilst at the pool or beach. I would recommend paying the extra to get a harbour view room. Make sure you ask about the resort and power fees you will be charged at the end of your stay - we were told by the receptionist upon checking in but cost us quite a lot. You will be charged the same at any other hotel on the island but good to have a heads up! Room was fine - probably one of the smaller Hilton rooms I have stayed in.

Beautiful area but lacks simple thingsPosted Feb 16, 2015
Don't know if it's a normal thing in Florida or not to not include Wifi but $10 a day is steep. Hotel lobby seems new and redone but east and west "villas" were rather dated. Beautiful area though with the pool and Gbar however lacking basic necessities ruined this experience for me.
