Hilton Garden Inn Fort Lauderdale Airport-Cruise Port

Registration was smooth, hotel staff very polite and most helpful. Hotel transport readily available, and made available for local restaurant travel to any of six nearby establishments, complete with hassle free bookings.

This is not a luxury hotel. The small dining room has a limited menu. But.... The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a snack vending machine, a laundry room, fitness center, swimming pool, meeting rooms. Quiet and comfortable.

Overall this hotel is very pleasing. The only thing I want to mention is the shuttle service pick up. When I arrival Fort Lauderdale Airport, I used the phone provided by Air port to get contact with the hotel. It took a while to talk to the staff. She gave me the information about 15 to 20 minutes waiting time for the pick up. The fact is that,me and wife waited around 1 hr for the pick up. The first timer to this place and see other hotel' s buses moves in and out. You can know how we fell at that time. After the driver told me that their shuttle service talk one for every hour. If I got this Information ahead, every thing is OK.

My wife and I stayed and this Hilton on our recent trip to Florida. I loved the fact that while close to the highway and a busy street it was secluded enough that we never heard any of the traffic. The hotel staff were friendly and did a wonderful job of making us feel comfortable and keeping the room clean. We did try the room service and found that the food was good and was delivered in an appropriate amount of time. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if we go back.

Registration was easy, explanation of all they could do when we asked for assistance. The hotel entrance and lobby is very appealing.

Beautiful hotel. Rooms where nice and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It is right across the street from shopping so if you forget anything or want to eat you dont have to go to far.

Airport pick-up was botched. I called as soon as we got to the baggage area, was told "sort of" where to wait outside and she'd send a driver. After 1 hour, I called again, after discovering we had to walk a ways from the baggage claim area to get the hotel transportation, even though we never saw our hotel transport go by. "Yes, he's on his way back, I told him he missed you". After another half hour, and it had started raining, he came, didn't even park near us, so we walked approx. 100yds to the waiting van. The seats were damp because he had been driving with the front windows open and it was raining in back on the passenger seats. he spoke not one word to us or an "I'm sorry for not picking you up earlier". No tip. Once inside the hotel, the restaurant was over-priced, but we were hungry and it was late after standing at the terminal for so long. The breakfast buffet in the am was expensive, no continental breakfast was offered. This was the first time at a Hilton and probably will be the last.

We found the staff at the front desk ready to assist and go the extra distance, so accommodating for such a short stay at the start and the end of a cruise. would recommend without hesitation

Contacted from FLL airport via free general hotel phone in luggage pickup area. Picked us up in about 25 minutes with free shuttle. Close by airport, so quick trip. Hotel also very convenient to large shopping plaza with major stores and several restaurants (free shuttle at dinner time), including Red Lobster. Although close to freeway, did not hear at all from in hotel or room. Free WiFi, which is nice (other higher price hotels charge).. Always lots of helpful front desk staff to answer questions. Onsite restaurent good value for buffet breakfast ($12.95?), and light evening meals/dinner (no lunch) with small bar. Shuttle to cruiseport ($8 each). Rooms good size, basic view.

We stayed here the night before our most recent cruise...could not have asked for a better place or nicer staff!!!! They picked us up from the airport...delivered us to the beautiful hotel...recommended a great place to eat(gave us a free ride there and back) and then helped us set up our trip to the cruise port and then to the airport afterwards transportation~ all in one easy step!!!!! We will defintely stay here again!!!! Thanks to All!!!
