“Getaway in November”

We were rebooked into this hotel after our original booking ( The Sheldon Hotel ) turned out to be a disaster because it was still under renovation and the rooms were horrible. This hotel was at least comfortable, fairly clean, and the staff was very friendly. The place is one short block from the beach and Billy's Stone Crab restaurant is across the street on highway A1A which is convenient if you want good food.

We had a great time in just one day, we'll go for a longer time, next time!

“Liked it a lot but had problems parking”

I really liked the hotel. Felt really good there and loved the location right by the beach. However when I got home late at night there were no parking spots left at times and there is NO Parking in the neighborhood. I ended up parking at a neighboring businesses lot at night figuring they wouldn't even notice until they came back in the morning. Guess what - I got towed! Cost me $$$ to get my car back. If you plan to be in at night before 8 or 9pm no problem, other than that there can be problems. Ken

“Very Friendly Staff, Would Recommend”

was very skeptical at first when we pulled up to the hotel, doesn't look very appealing, but the customer service and staff were very friendly, minutes from the beach and boardwalk. Great taco bar in front. live music. a lot of free amenities like WiFi, bike rental, surfboard, chairs for beach. over all very satisfied with the hotel. we stayed almost a week there and had absolutely no troubles with any staff or surrounding neighborhood. Would stay here again if visiting the Hollywood area

“Need a new cleaning person.”

1st room that we were given wasn't cleaned after previous guests. Floor wasn't cleaned, bathroom was dirty. So we went to a front desk to ask for another room. They gave us another room. It was clean, but later that evening we discovered that a toilet wasn't flushing properly, water keep running all night long and wouldn't flush likes its suppose to. We tried to fix it, but nothing worked. Then we discovered that a shower has a mind of its on, water would go from cold to extremely hot with out us even touching a nozzle. Towels had hair on it, so my husband went to get new ones, and a receptionist said that everyone sheds hair, and its ok cause towels are clean?!?! We woke up to a paddle of water next to an AC unit. So we went to a front desk again. We tried to get our money back so we can go to another hotel for the rest of our stay(we were suppose to stay there 6 nights total). But they would keep saying that Expedia has our money and there is nothing they can do about it, so we called Expedia and they kept saying that our hotel has our money. after hours of arguing they gave us another room. it was clean and had a working shower and toilet. And everything was great until we wound couple of cokroaches in our room. And their cleaning lady kept shorting us with their towels, we started with 5, last night we only got 2, supposedly they ran out of towels, how is that possible? i would never stay in this hotel again.

“Perfect Place to Relax”

Hotel was amazing for the price and location! Just a few steps away from the beach and amazing boardwalk. The hotel provides free bike, surf board, buggy board, beach chairs, and beach umbrella rentals for 2 hour max before 11pm. Had a new TV, fridge, and microwave. Had cleaning everyday and staff was VERY friendly and always willing to provide you with any information needed. Also you are provided with a grill! Really enjoyed this area and would DEFINITELY recommend their tacos at the taco shack in front of the hotel. THE BEST TACOS EVER!!

“Will book again!”

I stayed at this hotel two years in a row. The great location - just steps away from the beach -,and exterior appeal of the hotel are part of its charm. The fresh white paint on the buildings and the blue doors, the wooden chairs, tables and umbrellas that are set up in between the units are attractive and friendly, a good place to hang out in the evening and grill a steak (can borrow a grill from the office). The rooms are comfy , simple and with modern furniture (IKEA type), a flat screen TV ,a chest of drawers where I could fit a ton of clothes and cosmetics.Cleaning , sheets and fresh towels are provided daily. (Mirta, the Cuban housekeeper , not only is very efficient, but also a pleasure to talk to. )The AC works perfectly, Wi-Fi was fast. It is not a luxurious room, but the warm colors, the cleanliness and having the basics for a quick breakfast (microwave. fridge etc), makes it a great deal for the money. The staff is friendly and helpful. Joe checked me in and took care of all the extras I needed/wanted right away (towels, silverware, blow drier etc). Pamela, Ygli and Eileen (apologize for any name mispelling), smile, chat, find out info for you, are receptive to what you need and perform wonders when they acommodate late check outs even if the hotel is booked (there is a fee, but reasonable). Lots of freebies: grill, surf boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, bikes.The Taco Shack behind the hotel provides excellent food and service, and live music. A do-again place :)!
