“Not really a hotel”
Classic example of a lower end timeshare trying to get into the hotel business but not getting the details down. Lots of rules posted, minimal maid service, no shampoo or soaps unless you ask. The beach and boardwalk are nice but immediate neighbors include a huge parking ramp and a large 70's era hotel with abandoned store fronts. Decor in rooms is heavy on 80's style-mirrors abound. Good south Florida central location but you can probably do better given the downturn in local real estate.
“Oldie but goodie”
The location of this hotel makes it great! I use to live in this area and for the price you cant beat it to open up your curtains and see the beach! The size of the one bedroom was great! The bed was comfy and kids did well on sofa bed. Two tvs are a must and dual climate control was nice along with 2 bathrooms is great! We didn't realize maid service was not daily and only wanted to change sheets once in a week and we did it ourselves so be prepared to clean up after yourselves. They did provide towels daily. The furnishings could use updating but for the price it was fine! Nice pool and game room. We would stay here again just realize it is an older building and you get what you paid for.
“Hollywood's best kept secret”
This was our second time to stay at Hollywood Beach Tower. We love it!! When we arrived, and the lady at the front desk found out we were returning customers, she saw that the top floor suites were available....and put us in a great suite on the top floor with a beautiful view. The rooms have a full kitchen, which is great for breakfast or whatever. The hotel sits right on the beach and the Hollywood boardwalk. The Hollywood boardwalk (no wood- actually a paved walkway) is great- lots of action and good places to eat/drink. We will definitely return.
“Holiday Towers Review”
Excedllent hotel with a great staff and beautiful location on the broadwalk
“Old and dated but loved the area”
We have been vacationing in the Hollywood area since the 70's. We stayed there 19 years ago and some of the same furnishings are there! If you love to walk the beach and the beautiful boardwalk this is the place to be. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The $ was right for our stay we overlooked the dated furnishings for the beauty of the area and views from the pool and our room. Hollywood is up and coming. We would go back, but certainly not a 5 star!
“Nice”
We had a 1 BR suite with 2 bathrooms. Furnishings were a little outdated, but it was clean and acceptable. Good location and friendly staff. Would stay there again.
“Great potential..........but”
This place has great potential due to the location but the apartments need new furniture, the dinning set only had two chairs and one of them had one leg broken; the sofa had a big rip on the side and the rest of the furniture looks from the seventies. The service was very good and the people were very nice and the place is clean and secure. It would be good if they add more amenities. The pool was over chlorinated and the water never looked clear. On Sunday there were a bunch of drunken people drinking and doing nasty things at the pool and no one from the hotel came to establish order even as it was reported.
“Great value”
The accommodations were a great value especially with the kitchen. The view was good and having immediate access to the beach from the hotel was excellent. The hotel staff was friendly and were quick to respond to our requests. We will definitely come back again.
“Loved my hotel”
Instead of getting a one room hotel room, I got a one bedroom, two bath, and a full kitchen. The room even has a flat screen television and many cable channels. It is right on the beach and I loved staying there. I would definitely stay there next time.
“GOOD TIME”
GREAT LOCATION ON THE BEACH. FREE PARKING AND INTERNET A BONUS.
