From the moment I arrived I knew that I was going to enjoy my stay! Quiet location, about 2 blocks off the beach, with close, easy and quick access to the tourist sites and good restaurants. Perhaps only a 20 minute walk from the Galleria Mall if one desires to walk. What a staff! I can't say enough good about Kimberly, Jeff, and Richard O'Connor! They were so open and friendly that I felt like I had know them for years. They were very welcoming and hospitable.

My husband and I checked into the Desoto Inn. I was in town for the Oprah Life you Want weekend. So I needed to hurry and shower before the event. Our room was not ready at 2:55pm. However Wendy, ushered us in so that I could meet my deadline. When we walked in the floors were sparkling and the room smelled of Clorox. Not the overpowering smell, but a comforting scent that reassures that the room has been recently cleaned. The room was well appointed. A glass table and wicker chairs, for dining. A sturdy night stand, lamp and large face alarm clock. The closet was spacious and had a luggage butler. The flat screen TV ensured that hubby was happy. The large walk in shower maintained excellent water pressure. And the toiletries were plentiful. I thought that the beach and bath towels were a really nice touch. We booked an efficiency, but it had a "just right" kitchen with all the amenities. Including, two burner stovetop, kitchen sink, microwave, coffee maker, fridge, and toaster! Pots, pans and glassware was pristinely placed in the spacious cabinets. The grounds were lush and green. Stone pathways lead into Tiki huts and sunbathing areas. Desoto evoked memories of a Florida long since forgotten. Resident birds (caged) chirped in the sunlit morning, mingling with the sound of the surf in the near distance. Do your wallet and your spirit a favor and escape to your own Eden. We will be back!!!

We arrived on Friday for a birthday weekend. From beginning to end this was a great stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. The room had a bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen with a table, all nicely decorated. The location was very convenient to Las Olas Blvd. with all of its restaurants and shops, as well as a maybe 20 min. walk to the beach. The owners were so very nice and will do anything for their customers. This is a place we will return to again and again !!

In Fort Lauderdale quite a bit. Usually stay at a relative's place but was not able to do so this time so I booked the Victoria Park Hotel based on online reviews. Everything was perfect. Room size, cleanliness, helpful and friendly staff, location. Nice, quaint South Florida atmosphere in a quiet setting. You won't be disappointed.

A fantastic little hotel in a really great location, staffed by helpful, friendly people who make you rally welcome. Always there to help but never intrusive the staff make this hotel something special. With a wonderful waterfront location only a few minutes walk from the bustling bars and restuarants of downtown. Unlike many hotels the bar and food prices are reasonable, and the wine selection incredible for such a small establishment. The only small complaint would be that the sun beds could do with covering up when it rains!
