“Relaxing”

This was a great place for me and my boys. There were two outside pools and one was heated, so after the sun went down, it was a great way for us to enjoy the evening. The room was very clean and felt like home.

“Clean, quiet, right on the beach”

This place should not be be compared to a hotel, this is a timeshare. It means: - No receptionist round the clock, so if you plan to check in late, come with working cell phone. There is a phone number posted, a few minutes after calling a security guard can check you in. - Timeshare seems to operate in weekly cycles, so if you are staying longer, you may be asked to change rooms on Saturday. - No restaurant on site, but fully equipped kitchens in units. You have to drive to buy groceries, but not very far. - Some units are upstairs without elevator, be prepared to carry luggage yourself. Overall these are minor inconveniences considering cleanliness, variety of swimming pools, quiet beachfront location and affordable price.

“Jewel on the Beach”

It's an older place but its a jewel, very clean, right on the beach. with some of the most pleasant people that keep coming back, and the staff and housekeepers make for a reason to go back.We were skeptical of the murphy bed, and couch bed, but they were very comfortable. Beach chairs or cabanas resonable priced from Bob on the beach.jet skies and water rentals next door. Only complaint not enough parking, and bring your own coffee.

“Definitely staying here again!”

LOVED this place! it was very clean and quiet. Some folks said the rooms are "older"; I had no problem with it at all. The location was perfect; just outside of "town", right on the beach, all the amenities I wanted/needed, everyone was very friendly, and the price was great! I go often to Pompano to visit family and will be staying here in the future. Great for everyone. Plenty to do on the beach (rent jet skis, kayaks, beach equipment) and plenty of room on the beach so you're not close to everyone. DEFINITELY recommend it!

“Perfect location and superclean apartments!”

After looking at several hotels in the area, we decided to book this apartment hotel for a few nights. The resort is located directly on the beach, and it looked well maintained. We booked a spacious town house. It provided us with everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen. The first thing I noticed was how clean the apartment was. It smelled clean, and everything in it were super clean. The resort had a wonderful calm atmosphere, and we could finally relax and enjoy our vacation. The area is quiet and safe, and close to anything you may need. The staff were very nice and helpful. We liked it so much, that we ended up staying for 10 nights, and we will go back there on our next vacation to Florida.

“La Costa a pleasant, relaxing surprise.”

Booked a last-minute stay at La Costa Beach Club for my wife and I. The club is clean, spacious and well-managed, with multiple pools and a wonderful beachfront location. We stayed in one of the studio rooms with a pulldown Murphy bed and couch. The room was very clean, with plenty of towels and a kitchenette with fridge, dishwasher, range/oven and coffee maker. The resort is very "hands-off" and allows guests to come and go as we pleased. Staff was friendly and extremely flexible on our schedule. Our only real issue was the pulldown bed mattress, which was uncomfortable to sleep on. Otherwise, La Costa is an excellent value for an oceanfront resort in the Ft. Lauderdale area.

“Amazing and beautiful experience”

This resort is breath taking. Rooms are perfect size with everything u need. Hotel is very clean and the beach is quiet and wonderful. Could not have asked for a better experience. I will definately be returning again and again

“a welcome rest”

La Costa was the perfect place for my partner and me to relax. It was right on a beautiful beach and within close driving distance to reasonable restaurants with great food. Our room was upgraded to a spotless one-bedroom: The full kitchen (dishwasher, fridge, utensils, etc.) were more than we needed; there was a sitting area with a flat-screen; the upstairs bedroom with another flatscreen was spacious with a roomy shower (a toilet and sink were also downstairs). The only difficulty someone might have would be the spiral staircase leading upstairs, which was too narrow to carry up our suitcases. The blinds did not especially darken the room, but we adjusted. The pool areas were also spotless. The front desk was very accommodating, but the towel service was curiously unwilling to accept a sandy towel. How that can be avoided at a beach resort, only the super fastidious know! Overall, a wonderful stay.

“Loved La Costa!”

My family and I had a great time. I have to admit that I was a little worried about the condition of the room, but I was pleasantly surprised. I would like to point out that the indoor pool did not look as clean as one would hope, but maybe they were doing something to it (I only saw the pool from the outside). Other than that, the hotel was great and the staff was very helpful and friendly!

“Great for a week at the beach”

Nice place to stay right on the beach, well kept up with a nice mix of amenities. The rooms were clean and in good shape, the pool areas and the grounds were also well kept. The only thing we did not realize when we booked was that this was mainly a time share resort meaning no daily cleaning service, but as long as you don't mind picking up after yourself and taking your towels in to exchange for clean, the comfort of the rooms and the views make up for it. Our only negative was we had to change rooms mid week because our original one bedroom was scheduled to be used by a time share owner. We were moved to a studio that was even closer to the beach and had a wonderful balcony overlooking the ocean, but it had a murphy bed that was not comfortable at all, the only real negative of this very nice beachfront resort. A minor negative is no restaurant or bar on site, but there were a few well within walking distance so not a major problem.
