We stayed at this resort for three days. We were in a renovated town house and it was very clean. On the main floor you have a small living room, an area to eat with a table and four chairs, a bed-sofa and a small kitchen with pretty well everything in it you need. Upstairs there is a nice king-sized bed with an excellent, comfy mattress, and a bathroom with a shower. We looked over the north pool. There are three pools and a hot tub. One pool is indoors, one pool is heated and one pool isn't. They seem to have a lot of different activities going on. The beach is being refurbished with new sand. You can walk for a long way. It is nice being able to walk right out to the beach.

Decent hotel for the pricePosted Nov 23, 2013
Pros: Proximity to the beach and area attractions.
Cons: Parking and WiFi.
Nice property right on the beach. Rooms were clean and spacious although a bit dated. Grounds were manicured and well-kept, as were the three pools. Property could use more parking. WiFi was weak and inaccessible in our room, but slightly better near the pools. Overall, not bad for the price we paid.

Pros: On the beach and close to other things to see and do.
Our room was on the third floor located at the end of the row. Had great view of the ocean which was only steps away. There were three swimming pools to choose from and a hot tub. Great place to come and relax and enjoy the sights. Within very short driving distance to grocery stores and malls and restaurants. Perfect spot to have fun. Would stay here again on next visit to Fort Lauderdale.

Wouldn't Recommend It.Posted Nov 15, 2013
Pros: The room was very clean as was the pool and the grounds. Good access to the beach. Most of the staff seems to "try".
Cons: Installation of modern appliances.
Location: Good location as far as beach goes. Not much to do near by.
We had a studio unit on the 3rd floor. It is very small with a hide-away bed. The refrigerator was very loud and ran almost constantly. It reminded us of an old garage Coke soda machine. The AC unit was also very noisy. Internet access was almost non-existent. Despite 8 calls to the office they never remedied the situation. We had to stand on the walkway outside our room if we wanted to connect. There was no vent in the bathroom, nor shelf in the shower to set shampoo, razor, etc. It was professed to have a fully equipped kitchen, but cookware was limited (there were no mixing bowls, salt and pepper, strainer, serving bowls, etc.). When we asked for an addition roll of toilet paper for our room we were told that was something we had to pick up at the store. At 7:00 a.m. on our third day we awoke to chainsaw noises coming from the pool area below us. They apparently decided to do some work repairing the ceramic tile along the pool skirt. They couldn't have waited until later?

Shocker on the beachPosted Nov 15, 2013
Pros: right on the beach
Cons: do some rehab on the property
Location: location is a bit remote, we found a Time share two door down in great shape, with a restaurant and bar, spent most of our time there
Our problems started upon arrival, to be fair we arrived early, it was a raining and heavy winds, the room was not ready, which is understandable, we waited 5 hours for the room to be cleaned, when we arrived sand was on the floor through the the unit, kitchen counter and stove top was not clean, what did we wait 5 hours for???, When we went to take a shower there was not hot water after calling in we were told they would fix. it ..... the next afternoon there was warm water not any hot water, the care of this property has been at a little lacking, The hair dryer did not work, they did replace it later the next day, we felt that the property was, 2nd rate, and the beach was being worked on with large earth moving equipment running up and down the beach, spreading, sand that had been washed away, good for others who would come later, but we were never told about this so we could make other plans and during the 5 hours we waited for a room 4 families came in to complain and were told the front desk they had no authority to do any thing for them, I was sitting close to front desk and heard a call from Expedia, on behalf of a tenant, to discuss the equipment on the beach and all the noise from them ran on the week end until late at night, I assume so they could get it completed before the season started, but that did not help those staying at that time, the property blamed it upon the city saying it was not on there property and no refunds would be granted..

Great Beach AccessPosted Oct 17, 2013
Pros: Room was comfortable and kitchen was stocked with everything we might need.
Cons: Maybe an update on the bedding. I hate polyester bedspreads. But...everything else was perfect.
I was so sad that we were here only one night. it was a lovely place with a lot of amenities to keep us busy. I could have stayed the entire summer. The beach access is just a few steps from the door, which is my favorite part. There is a nice warm pool and a hot tub sauna, as well.

Folding BedPosted Sep 11, 2013
Pros: The beach was very nice and clean. Becuase is not owned by the hotel
During the reservation was mentioned a queen size bed, but I was surprised that the room has a folding bed, no night stands; everything was so cheap except the bill. The elevator was out a service for more than a week. Rust in all metallic structures. Lack of maintenance and upgrades. Find the room was not easy due lack of signs. Definitely I do not recommend.

Rooms need remodeledPosted Aug 27, 2013
Pros: Close to beach
Cons: Gut the room and remodel
In a room that needs remodeling. Refrigerator broken door/shelf held together with duct tape. Mirror wall in living room cracked and discolored. Shower door almost fell off track along with rust. Paint peeling on deck, doors and walls. Grounds outside as we'll as pool kept up nice but rooms have a lot to be desired. Elevator broke as well which made carrying luggage and groceries a workout daily. Not a place I will return to.
