Great hotel! The staff is absolutely amazing. The managers, Trey & Rachel, are always around to help with any issues. They're definitely there to make sure all guests enjoy their stay, any time I've had an issue Trey or Rachel step up and fix it ASAP! You can tell it's a difficult property with the different mix of clientele, but I've witnessed both managers under pressure and they handle it well.

Cons: Better breakfast selection. Staff was very cheap with towels. They never provided enough towels or wash clothes.
Location: Lots of resturants within walking distance.
Spent 4 days here. Quiet hotel. Pool was nice size, but didn't have pool towels, had to always ask at front desk.

Air conditioning did not function, switched rooms same problem.. both rooms smelled like pure smoke. Horrible experience. Pool and Jacuzzi had toooo much chlorine.. could barely withstand being in for more than 10 min. Terrible and will never go there again.

Pros: It has a pool and is in a convenient location close to all amenities of Fort Lauderdale.
Cons: The hotel needs refurbishment.
We have stayed at this La Quinta many times before and although it is not the "best" of La Quinta, it was very convenient to where we needed to be. However, this visit was probably the last, we felt that it had deteriorated since our last visit. The front desk were helpful and attentive but our room was not "fresh" and although we asked for non-smoking it was obvious smoking had recently occurred in the room, and it need refurbishment. There was a lot of noise from the guests shouting and arguing outside which was concerning. It felt as if some of the guests were "camping out" at the hotel i.e. sitting in the doorways. We won't be returning.

If this is a pet friendly hotel then you should not get locked out if your room daily because your animal made noise when people were loud outside your door when your room is in front of the stair case. They say don't leave pet unattended, so you can't go eat or use the pool if you have a pet because you can't take them with you to those locations. My pet was with me 90 percent of my stay unless I went to eat and the one time I went to use the pool. If other guest can not handle an occasional dog bark, then they should stay at a non pet friendly hotel

This hotel a great price, very well condition, near great restaurants and the beach, the staf is very friendly. The rooms are great, very clean, the look as if recently renovated.

The room was very clean. It is mind troubling to see those poor house keepers busting their tails to do such a good job, making sure that there is no complains about their performance; yet, the ones who are making money are the rude ones, the most undisciplined ones, and no regards for customers. When you talk about breakfast, I have never been exposed to a selection as lamed as this one is. It needs major consideration. The hotel needs a new make over!
