“Perfect Hotel for Families”

This hotel is perfect for families. Their are 2 pools which have gates around them. There is a small playground on the sand with swings and slides. You can walk straight to the beach from the hotel. You do not need to cross the street like many other Fort Lauderdale hotels. For older kids, there is also mini golf, tennis courts and a giant chess board game. Service by the pool for drinks was great. This hotel also has 4 restaurants so you dont have to leave if you dont want to. The food was very good, but not too many options, so you may get bored with the food if you just stay at the resort. Depends on how long you are there. Overall, we had a great time and this hotel was just what we were looking for.

“Awesome Stay!”

There was nothing we didn't like about our stay. The place had that old world feel and charm. The staff was more than accommodating. They truly did not have the word "no" in their vocabulary. We had one of the best times spent at Lago Mar. Plan on going back for years to come.

What a wonderful gem in Fort Lauderdale, away from the hustle and bustle of Hotel Row further North. The ammenities of the hotel were outstanding and we particularly liked the private beach, hammocks under the palm trees, and outside games such as outside chess and shuffleboard. Our family had a wonderful time. Only disappointments were the "pricey" drinks at the bar ($9.50 for a small plastic cup), and at the on-site spa.

“Perfect Vacation!!”

This was our second year at the hotel. We really love it. The beach, the pools, the food, the size of the resort , the staff and location is perfect. My only complaint this time was the mattress it was horrible.

The best customer service we have ever experienced at any hotel. The location is away from all of the noise of the beach place strip yet still very close to visit. We will go back time and time again.

July 1st, 2012. We just got back from a wonderful week's stay at LAGO MAR. This is a first rate property that gets it right all of the time. It a small boutique property (138 guest rooms) with large grounds and amenities. We went with our 4 teenage kids and had an absolute blast. Its no wonder that its immaculate, with lush grounds. The staff is on top of everything. Golf courses, 3 pools, awesome beach, tennis, great food, shuffle board, mini-golg and huge chess set for the kids. Great common areas, lounges, spa and piano bar for the parents. Its a can't miss.
