Lago Mar Resort Hotel And Club

Free parking, free WiFi, and reasonable rates! This is almost unheard of in Ft. Launderdale. There are very few hotels with direct beach access, but this is one of them! Quiet and comfortable, but just down the beach from the action. Stayed here after a cruise with my wife, daughter, and one of her friends. What a great way to wind down!

We loved this place! There were 3 of us & we shared a room with 2 queen beds. The room was spacious,the beds were very comfortable & we loved the balcony. There are 2 pools to swim in as we'll as the beach, with free chairs & plenty of space to spread out. We loved the food & the variety of restaurants. Everyone was helpful & friendly from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We would definitely consider coming back !! Also, the cruise port is very close & it was really cool to see the huge ships leaving port!!

Great pools!!!!!! Great beds and rooms!!!!!! Very clean!!!!!!! other guests were nice!! Wonderful beach!!! Close to airport and stores but yet very private!!!!!!! Had a really good 6 night stay and will be back again!!!

Lago is a pleasant place to stay for a family with children. It is on the atlantic ocean, has a playground for kids, tennis courts and such. The staff was very friendly, we had the least expensive room that the hotel offers but in my opinion it was still a bit too expensive for what it offered. The room had your basic equipment like fridge, coffee maker, tv, but NO MICROWAVE! That was a bit surprising since everywhere we have stayed a microwave oven is standard equipment, and having two small children it made life more difficult. So overall the place is nice but just a tad too expensive.

Great experience. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Pool area is great. Beach is very close to the pool and has really nice playground for the kids. Pool bar with drinks and food is great. Only negative is that you must charge to the room but they were pretty good about splitting the payment at checkout. Rooms are very spacious and well kept.

The hotel the amenities and the landscape was beautiful but the pool staff is the worst i have experienced If they hate there job so much why put a that person at the heart of your hotels Business

Myself, wife, and two kids stayed for five nights at Lago Mar. We were very pleased with the hotel due to the spacious bedrooms, quality service, and location. The hotel has a private beach, pools, cabana, miniature golf, shuffleboard, and playground. The pool could have been a little cleaner during our stay but that was due mainly to the high winds we were experiencing. The only complaint I have is that there is only one child TV channel in the rooms and it is cartoon network. Not the best for families with young children.

Fantastic resort right on the beach with two really good pools. The staff are friendly and very helpful. A little out of the way for shopping wine and or food but a 20 min walk or $6.00 cab ride will get you there. You can eat in the resteraunt or there is a very reasonable soda bar on site. Would go again loved it.

We arrived at Lago Mar around 5pm for a short stay until the next morning when we flew out of Ft. Lauderdale. The hotel was very nice and the rooms are huge. It was more than spacious enough for our family of five. This area of Ft. Lauderdale is very nice. The beach behind the hotel goes on forever. I wish we had more time to stay. The pools were very nice and the night we stayed it was cool so the warm water was nice. Not so sure how it would feel on a hot summer day. Overall it was a nice stay.

If you are looking for the excitement of being in the midst of it all, this is not the place for you. Lago Mar is a great hotel right in the beach. The staff is superb and the location was just what we wanted for our Mother's Day getaway. They provide complimentary lounge chairs for the beach or you can relax at one of two pools. Food at the promenade bar was food and drinks were always string - never watered down. From our executive one bedroom suite ( two double beds and a pullout) we could see the pool and the ocean. It was nice to sit on the balcony in the morning to have coffee and watch the rising sun. I can't wait to return with my husband and maybe even the kids!
