20th Anniversary Vacation

Posted Jan 24, 2015
Pros: Great location, great room and good price for all we got.
Cons: Not much.
Location: Many activities nearby, Outlet Center and malls a short drive away. Grampa's Bakery is only a ten minute drive away, NOT TO BE MISSED for breakfast!
Great non-stop flights, great rental car and great hotel. Huge room with bath and a half with great balcony views. Coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, sink, dishes and table. Quiet and comfortable with great weather. Free parking in convenient parking garage. Friendly, helpful staff. Great location with lots of beach room. Had a wonderful anniversary stay! Will come back!

Great family owned resort and club

Posted Jan 11, 2015
We had a great four days at Lagomar. Staff was fabulous, the room was great we were able to get a late checkout because we had a late flight and an upgrade on the front end. My son hurt his foot on a rock and they went so far as to dig out the 50 pound rock from the beach. Commitment to excellence

Very elegant hotel worthy of 5 star classification

Posted Jan 8, 2015
Pros: The private beach and the view of the cruise ships sailing in and out of the port. the entertainment to the children. free valet parking..
Cons: update the room furniture..extend the walkway to the beach to accommodate the wheelchairs and strollers
Location: location is perfect..quiet and secluded area..minutes away from the airport and 1A1...Catholic church St Sebastian nearby..
this is the first stay at the hotel and we were very impressed with the facilities as a whole. Unfortunately I was assigned a hotel room with a balcony that faces a ""Palm Tree"" obstructing any view. Prices at the restaurants are reasonable and very good meal selections.

Conforto na praia

Posted Jan 7, 2015

Only for the location

Posted Jan 2, 2015
Pros: Location, location, location -- last hotel on the beach, no boardwalk, no watersport vendors, no traffic. Wholesome families.
Cons: Room linens needs overhaul. Food very mediocre. No cash payments annoying. Beach towel service laughable. Towels with holes and handed out unfolded.
Location: I wouldn't venture far if weather is nice. Other parts of Ft Lauderdale are way too commercial. Las Olas is nice and quick cheap taxi away.
This is a moderate hotel with a premiere location. Way off the bustling and sometimes sleazy strip of Ft Lauderdale. Go here with family. Two pools, playground, tennis, mini golf, shuffleboard.. but beware NO jacuzzi. Food is average. Rooms need serious updating as do linens. But again it's 10min from airport and easy to let small children roam around safely. Go off property to Las Olas Blvd for dining.

Amazing hotel right on the beach

Posted Dec 25, 2014
Pros: Everything
Cons: New ping pong table
Location: Great restaurants. The beach was our to do
We loved LAGO MAR. Wish we had booked more days! Upgraded us to a king bed. The room was great with a balcony ...service was amazing. So much to do ping pong everyday ...so many outdoor games...great pools...all salt water! amazing beach! U can take a short walk for sunset to see all the cruise lines come in.. Just beautiful ! They didn't charge for chairs and umbrellas at the beach .. Like in Del Ray at the Marriot ..we didn't eat there but everyone seemed like they were enjoying themselves! Free parking! This is pure heAven..can't wait to come back!

Great find, hidden in the middle of ft lauderdale

Posted Dec 15, 2014
This is a fantastic Beach resort nestled right in the middle of Fort Lauderdale. The location couldn't be better. Feels like you have your own secluded beach despite the Close proximity of a major city. The rooms are a bit dated, but that's really my only complaint. The staff is fantastic and polite without exception. The food is quite good, although a bit pricey. Overall I would recommend this to anybody looking for a great beach getaway!
