“Awesome time!”

My family and I had an awesome time! The hotel is on a fantastic spot near everything, aross the street from a beautiful beach and, within walking distance to several restaurants and stores. We were on the 11th floor with view to the marina....fantastic! The fireworks on the 4th of July were set up in front of the hotel so we had VIP view from the pool deck. Our group consisted of seniors, adults, teenagers, kids/babies and every one had a great time. The only "bad" thing we have to say about this hotel is that it needs an update on the elevators service. Usually we would wait 5 to 15 mins for an elevator but on our check out day we waited 47 mins to get into one. Other than this, everything else was absolutely great!

“Exceptional”

Everything was perfect. Was able to check in early. Helpful and freindy staff. Had a late flight out on check out day and was able to hang out by pool until we had to leave for the airport( they had nice showers and locker room facilities to use before we had to leave also). Comfortable and clean rooms. The location was perfect (right in the middle of the restaurant, bar and shopping area with the beach just across the street). Don't bother to rent a car and make sure you go on the water taxi. Next time I go to Ft. Lauderdale, we know where we will be staying.

“Lots of room for a good price”

The villas at this hotel are much larger than standard rooms at other hotels which go for the same price. The staff was helpful and courteous. It is situated in a prime location in walking distance of many restaraunts and a short cab ride to activities and the airport.

“A must if you want action”

The staff was superb, and the rooms wonderful. The reception agent showed me menus from neighboring restaurants, explained all the services of the hotel (free laundry, etc.,) and even upgraded my room. The pool was mobbed, but the beach was right out the front door along with lots of tourist activity. For fellow skinny people, the mattresses are pillow top but you can have it flipped.

“Great Place”

we stayed 5 nights in a lock-off room. everything about the place was great. were able to check in at 1:30, which was a surprise. we have stayed here before and could not check in till 4:00. the pool is not huge, but is big enough. Peter, Splash Pool bartender was very nice and really went above and beyond what a bartender should be expected to do. When you go tell him Tyler said hello. Will surely go back. Only thing that is negative is the $14 a night parking. Plenty to do, and lots of eats close by.

“Quite Comfortable”

After reading all the negative reviews I was a little hesitant when we got to Marriott Towers. The checkin was not fun because they did not have the oceanfront high rise room we had requested at first. The front desk upgraded it as we were real upset. But we had to wait until 4:00pm to get it. After a long flight it was a nice gesture. The room was spotless and comfortable. Deluxe room had a microwave, fridge, coffeemaker, toaster, set of china/silverware for four and even a cutting board. Excellent service and cleaning everyday. The fifteenth floor room had tinted glass French doors that led out to a furnished balcony which we used a lot because the view was fantastic. The concierge was kind enough to make arrangements for us to rent a car on short notice and went out of his way giving excellent recommendations. Thank You!! The Pizza hut pizzas downstairs came in handy on our late nights out costing $10 for 2 individual ones which I thought was relatively affordable at any Beach Vacation spot. For people who complained about the garage I think it was wide enough but u have to be careful in a two way garage anywhere in the US. The noise from the Beach Place and construction were disturbing, but once we shut the door we slept like babies and let me tell you we do not sleep through noise. ALl in all we had a great time!!!

“Would definetly return!”

Traveled with a 11 mo. old baby in April 2006- loved the room, nice and big. Pool was nice and staff was friendly. My only problem was with the elevators! there were only 4 and no frieght elevator, so with the amount of people checking in along with sharing w/ giant maid carts- we waited several times for 15min. to get into an elevator. Other than that it was great.

“Anytime I'm in Ft. Lauderdale...I will stay at the Marriott Beach Place Towers”

From the time we arrived at the Marriott it was a pleasant experience. The hotel is located right across the street from the beach and sits on top of a shopping center. This location is great for kids and single adults. The hotel has activities for the kids everyday of the week. Some have fees. The pool area was clean and the concierge was fantastic. Getting to the beach was easy and safe with the underground walkway to avoid having to cross the busy street. Great bars, shops and restaurants all within a short walking distance. Just beware of the some of the hidden fees, i.e. parking, beach chair and umbrella rentals. They can be costly per day.
