Wonderful stay. Near the beach and walking distance of many bars. The owner was friendly and helpful. No complaints for me. I will definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

“Outstanding Value for the Money”

I rate this hotel as a superb because of the particular room we had that had an 8 ft picture window staring right across the street at the ocean. You could throw a stone from our room to the ocean. The location in relation to the heart of downtown is wonderful. They only have 3 of these rooms that face the ocean so you need to make sure you get one of them as the other ones do not have a view from the room. The Ritz Carlton is only 1 block away if that tells you anything.

I arrived to my hotel after hours because of a delay in my flight. They gave me excellent directions on how to get in my room after hours. After the frustrating delay, it was comforting to get into a nice clean room. It is an older hotel so do not expect everything to be modern. If this is what you want, go to the Ritz- Carlton next door and pay more. If you want a clean, sizeable, and a room across the street from the beach at a reasonable price this hotel is for you. Also, it has free parking and is within walking distance of all the good restaurants, bars and shops. I was pleasantly surprised. A GREAT deal!

This Hotel is a great place to stay if you are a couple looking for a place to stay while enjoying the nightlife and beach. close to all the hot spots! The new owners are working hard and cleaning up the place. Great for people wanting a place to sleep and change and not wanting to stay cooped up in their room...

“Resort quality location at comfy, modest price!”

OH YES...We'd stay there again! So, why'd we give a couple of "4" ratings??? The building is quite old (might have been built in the 50's?) and it appears that previous owners did little to upgrade or even care for it. HOWEVER, it's very obvious that Bob (the present owner) is putting a lot of effort into improvements. Evidence of "work in progress" was everywhere...painting, new doors, up-graded AC units, recent tile work...the list goes on. Our room was quite small but clean and comfy, with fridge, wi-fi, flat-screen TV ( a second chair would have been nice...even a compact,, folding chair). As work continues, I've no reason to believe that our "4's" will soon deserve "5's". Even though this was our first visit, Bob and his 2 staff members (Yep, it's a small, family-run establishment) treated us as if we were old family friends who'd accepted a personal invitation to spend a couple of nights in their home. If you want resort type accommodations, there are dozens within a couple of blocks...all of them boasting "resort-type prices". And,if ya want "fine dining", right next door is a restaurant where a nice meal for two (with appetizers, wine and dessert) will cost more than a night at Ocean Holiday Motel. But, if you want a friendly, clean, comfortable place to sleep that's right across the street from the beach, within easy walking distance of all the nifty touristy things in North Ft. Lauderdale, Ocean Holiday Motel is the place for you! Thank You, Bob & Staff.

“Great place ata great rate!”

Renovations are over but details are missing and clean up of minor contruction items layn in parking lot. The hotel is quaint and right across the Ocean. Nice rooms clean and neat. Easy access to beach and Casablanca Cafe which is excellent! I will return!
