“Enjoyed our Beachfront Stay and Watching the Sunrise”

This was a condo hotel - we had a full kitchen and a separate bedroom. Bath was small but functional. No TV in the bedroom however. Service was great. The common areas could use a little work - but our room looked like it was recently remodeled. Prices of drinks at the tiki bar were very reasonable. Meal at the sports bar were not very good. Hamburger was raw and chef salad had no dressing and was huge pieces of rolled meats - kind of weird. Other than that - our two night stay was great.

My family and I really enjoyed the staying at the hotel. Even when we live in the same city, the place gathers the amenities you need to relax .

“Awesome Place”

This place rocks! Nice view both city and ocean, clean rooms, friendly people, pool that walks right out to the ocean, tiki bar (need I say more) Very affordable. Would definitely stay again!

“Excellent Hotel”

My Boyfriend and I stayed in the hotel and we loved it. The frist room they gave us was not that great, but they changed it and gave us a room with ocean view and a kitchen. The hotel was really nice, clean and the rates were good. The staff were nice, the food was good and the Beach & Pool were super clean. I had a great time, and I will stay there again!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

“Better than good”

We were worried because of other negative reviews, but an inexpensive hotel right on the beach with a fun bar and great service. We couldn't be happier. And for no extra cost, we go an ocean view room. The room was big, too.

“Comfort & Convenience”

This hotel is a gem amoung giants. Its the smallest building on this particular strip called "Galt Ocean Mile" but in my opinion it is every bit as competitive as other hotels in the area offering ocean views. With its private beach and tiki bar its a leisure traveler's dream. The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating as was the rest of the hotel staff though at times not very attentive. The restaurant downstairs serves good food and the lounge, though not exactly the "happening spot" is inviting and features a band. The rooms are clean. Some need a few aesthetic repairs but for the most part, it was quite comfortable. Once I moved to the ocean view room, I never wanted to leave. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in (I can't say that for the one in the cityview room). The public beach is very close, as are main shopping areas and some attractions. All in all, I had an excellent stay and will return the next time I'm in Ft. Lauderdale. (Especially if the handsome gentleman that checked me in at the front desk is still around.)

“We'll be back next year...”

My husband & I had originally booked only two nights here, but upon arrival we decided we had to stay a third night. The hotel was nice...not five star material, but neat & clean & tastefully decorated. We got a beautiful room with a deluxe king size bed (best sleep I had since being at home) overlooking the pool and bar area with tremendous ocean views. Everything was clean; everything worked; the staff were all very pleasant; the food was good and very reasonably priced...we were extremely impressed considering the condition of many hotels in south Florida. Since we come to Florida every year, we will definately be coming back to the Ocean Manor!

“Loved it..”

My boyfreind and myself are both 21 years old. We went on this trip for a vacation, after reading previous reveiws I was a little worried what the hotel might be like. When we first got there we had no trouble getting into our room, when we got to the room we had 10th floor and it was side of the building room off our belcony we could see the city or ocean I thought it was nice. The pool and beach we right there there was sorta alot of little bugs in the pool by the middle of the day but it wasnt to bad. You could rent beach chairs daily for 3$ out on the beach. They had great food you could order out or eat right there the bar was awesome just a little pricy, they played great music. The room was nice it didnt look anythng like on the internet but I liked it the water pressure in the shower was also good jsut the sink and shower backed up a little if you took to long. We didnt have a car but it was great every thng was in walking distance they had, Windixie, Mcdonalds, Dunkin doughnuts, pizza place, party store, and a great travelers shop called Wings all within half a mile. Over all I loved the hotel and my vacation...I plan to make it an annual vacation to the Ocean Manor!
