Property was a little outdated and there were issues with water being turned off. Towels were hard to find or unavailable. The staff at the hotel however, were excellent and the overall vibe was attractive.

The hotel is very old. It smells like smoke in the hallways. Our smoke detector in our room was covered with a shower cap so clearly people smoke inside. Overall the hotel is just very old.

I liked OM for many years. My room : shower pressure low,no shower door,miniature bars of soap.the Toilet Was LOOSE on the floor.kitchen faucet handles were missing. Ocean Manor was a wonderful place.It needs some polishing up

Almost everything in our room had been broken and bandaided back together, from the patio door, the blinds, the sink and the shower.

We’ve stayed here twice. Both times, staff was very accommodating giving us a balcony room. My only complaint was that we were on a low floor and couldn’t leave our doors open to the balcony because all we could smell were cigarettes coming from people on the ground below us, so a higher room for non smoking people would’ve been a better option. Tiki bar is super fun. You can walk right into the beach. Italian restaurant is delicious.

Pros: staff was nice, has all you need right there on site, within walking distsnce of more queit and busier scenes. Cons: white powder all over bathroom upon arrival, yellow water, room got humid last 24 hours there, they said my room would have a full ocean view (it did not,) incredibly small elevators, major crack with water stain in ceiling, and my first morning there someone decided 630am was a good time to start doing minor construction in the room above me. Sounded like an electric drill or saw.

the initial room was dirty with garbage on the balcony, so we asked to be moved. The next room metal headboard on bed was hanging off and dangerous. during the night at 2 am was banging on the door to our room. we checked out early, and now seeking a refund for this stay, as we had to rent a car and move to a new hotel.

Location was great and had very friendly staff. Had a great tiki bar right on the beach with amazing bartenders and servers. The room was nice and updated but the one thing was in the bathroom there was no place to hang towels (no towel bars). The common areas (hallways) were dated and my floor smelled very strongly of pot. Overall I would definitely stay here again.

this property is old and outdated. some of these rooms should be condemned!!! the bathroom was disgusting. the shower didn't work! do not stay there ever! and the rates are definitely not worth it. the room was so small 2 people could not be in there at the same time!!

This was our third stay at Ocean Manor. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location being right in the beach is great. The tiki bar on property has good food, drinks and fun atmosphere. The only issue we had this stay was the condition of the room. The furniture in the room appeared as if they were taken off the side of the road and other was broken and questionable to even sit on. The comforter was ripped with stuffing coming out of it. Each room have different owners which we were not aware of so you could be getting a room like this or a beautiful one that is well taken care of. We have have nice rooms in the past.

Everything except the room was great. Our room had a broken lock, broken safe, no chain on inside door, dirty windows, very uncomfortable hard pillows, no pictures on walls, ugly shower door track. The room itself was very clean and the property outside the room was nice. The restaurants were fantastic. We stayed the first week in March so it wasn’t spring break yet however when asked about moving the room, front desk said no because the hotel was full.

I had a great stay at Ocean Manor. Staff was attentive and met our needs in timely manner. The access to the beach was amazing. Tiki bar area was very nice, food wasn’t as expected but not horrible either. Will definitely go back and recommend.

Tv didn’t work well at all. Had Mo come up twice and he was great. Problem is, there are no instructions on using it. WI-FI was also a problem. And no ESPN. I’m not there just to watch tv but at the end of the night I am. I don’t know anywhere that doesn’t have it. For $349. a night not a good take!

For the price, there’s definitely better places to stay. Sketchy area and sketchy people walking throughout the hotel. Shotty workmanship, things falling apart, needs major improvements. No extras, ie. coffee pot, coffee, cups, mugs, or cutlery. Whole third floor smelled like weed.

The smell of marijuana around the property was ridiculous. Previous guests had left cigarettes soaking in a bottle out on my balcony only one bed in the room was acceptable to sleep on

I stayed 1 night with my young daughter while the staff were all super nice I had a very bad experience. The man at the front desk when we arrived was so kind and got me and my daughter checked in early. Later in the after noon into the early evening hours the people next door were fighting the lady kept screaming and crying. Me and my daughter were terrified. A man did come up and ask them to keep it down however we did not feel safe. The hotel staff did change rooms for us however the next room was even more filthy than the first. Clumps of hair on the bathroom floor, hair and sand in the bed! This was also an adjoining room and the door that connected our room to the other room DIDNT LOCK. I had to stack chairs between the door and bed so no one could open it. I didn’t get any sleep that night, unfortunately this was my worst ever hotel experience.

The room was perfect, the staff was so helpful and friendly. The beds were very comfortable. Walking distance to stores. The driver they have is so on top of making sure you can get wherever you need. Definitely the only place I will ever stay when visiting Ft Lauderdale!

The hotel was wonderful. Staff was excellent and the Tiki bar was amazing. We will definitely come back. We were in room 1016 which was beautiful. My only complaint would be the living room needs blinds or curtains other than that it was great!!
