“Very nice!”

“Great place to stay”
It it is everything it says it is. Right on the ocean, close to everything and easy to get to. Tiki bar, hot tub pool, night club were great. If I'm back in this area anytime I would book here again.

I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone! My daughters and I were very welcomed by the entire staff at the hotel, as well as assisted with our departure. The hotel manager was exceptionally nice, as well as the housekeeping and the bartender at the beautiful Tiki Bar by the crystal clear pool and large jacuzzi!! Excellent place to stay and relax by the beach!!

I really enjoyed my stay. Nothing fancy but very clean and friendly/helpful staff. The pool was excellent and beach front access excellent. Restaurant and bar excellent as well.

“Great Value”
The room was just ok and like a typical motel 8 or red roof. The room makes the hotel show it's true age but it was clean and nothing negative about the room except the door lock I had problems with being unable to unlock it to get to the deck. The room had "oceanview" but it wasn't much of one and you could see the dumpster way more than the ocean, again you get what you pay for. The hotel lobby and restruant was extremely clean and very nice. A huge upgrade compared to the average rooms. Of course you have to pay to park each day whether you valet or not. We chose to walk to our car as it was not a long walk. The hotel clerk and staff was nice. The pool area was nice and also has a tiki bar. Overall I would recommend staying as it's a great value. I thought it was a great deal. Of course you can stay at nicer hotels and much worse but it was a great stay for your money.
“Just returned from sixth stay...”
We just returned from our sixth stay at the Ocean Sky Hotel in as many years. I am writing a review to take issue with several of the reviews I recently read. The Ocean Sky Hotel is not a five-star hotel nor does it advertise itself as such. It is a nice older hotel at an affordable price. If you are looking for a new five-star hotel, don't go to this hotel. However, if you looking for a convenient, clean, affordable, and quiet one, I definitely recommend this hotel. We never rent a car when we are there. We arrange transportation to and from the airport and everything is accessible either by bus or by walking. There is a grocery store, a McDonald's and numerous places to eat within a few blocks. The pool is clean, and the beach is just steps away from the patio and is never crowded. During our visit the hotel was completely full, but there was plenty of beach for everyone. The manager, the assistant manager, and the concierge, are all very friendly, personable and accommodating. I do, however, have to agree with one reviewer's comment that drinks are pricey at the tiki bar and that the cost to park your car on the premises is a little much. So, if the people who wrote poor reviews refuse to return because they thought they were going to stay at a five-star hotel but pay very affordable rates, that's fine with me and I am sure with the rest of the people who see this hotel for what it is,a nice, quiet, affordable, clean and convenient one.
