“Fun Time.”

We had a great time in Fort Lauderdale. The Hotel was very nice, along with the staff. Was a little surprised at the hidden fees such as valet parking and the safe, however we used both and were happy. The valet staff were fabulous, and the days it rained, came in very handy. Would stay there again when we go back to Florida.

Lovely hotel, only thing i wasnt happy about was the balconys were not open to go out on, and we were not told about it until we got there, other than that enjoyed our stay.

“Excellent choice, best value in the area”

Beach/ hot tub / pool/ balcony ...it doesn't get better for the price. Everything was clean and well cared for. This is definately a family site..quiet and safe. This was our 3rd year staying here and I look forward to coming back. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. One warning..they are putting in a bar off to the side..not sure how that will effect the nice quiet nights and parking and safty. Odd smell from this work and getting onto the beach. Alot of smokers around which would be nice to section off an area just for them.

“Superb Beach Resort!”

It was a beautiful location. I could look out my window and see the ocean easily. The balcony was nice and roomy...though not private. The surrounding areas were beautiful as well ...appeared to be mostly condos. The beach area was beautiful with a pool and lots of different types of chairs to choose from...with a tropical bar nearby....with pricey drinks. Next door there was a tropical bar open on the beach until 2 am with fire pits as well...and pricey drinks. The staff was very helpful....especially when I needed assistance with getting an internet connection....just wish it had reached to the beach. There is a beautiful breakfast area over looking the ocean....need to get there before 11 am to still get the breakfast menu......a disappointment for us on a Sunday that we missed it.

I stayed at this hotel at the end of March (right around spring break). I would say that overall the hotel was decent. The hotel was literally on the beach and it was great to wake up and take a walk right outside of the hotel on the beach. The room was nice and clean with a very comfortable king size bed. The bathroom looked like it was updated. The balconies weren't really private but it wasn't a problem. The jacuzzi was nice (and right next to the Tiki bar!), although the pool wasn't warm. The hotel offered valet parking (in which they expect tips) or you park across the street (both are $9/day). Overall my husband and I really enjoyed ourselves...it is a nice little neighborhood with some places to eat and a Walgreens not too far. Quite a few restaurants deliver right to your hotel door (which was great!) Great area if you like to walk. I would definitely return, as it was a very relaxing environment. The only negative thing I would say was that the water sports company connected to the hotel was bogus! I called in advance for pricing but when we arrived the prices were doubled! )$90/30minutes on a jet ski when I was told $35 when I called in advance. So if you plan to do some water sports either find another place or be prepared to pay some $$$$.

The location on the beach and the price was perfect. The restaurant and bar was a little pricey, but the nearness of other restaurants and grocery store made this a perfect hotel for someone on a budget.

All about the location. Absolutely beautiful. Room was ok. All rooms have an ocean view which is really nice. Hotel staff was great. Loved the tiki bar and the hot tub! Drinks were a little expensive and so was the food but the drinks were strong and the food was good. You just need to remember this is not a 5 star hotel. we would definitely stay there again.

“Excellent value for the money”

I booked this hotel last month and the week before I went, I checked out the reviews on this website and I was horrified by some of the negative reviews. When we arrived, I was expecting the worst, but was pleasantly surprised. The location is amazing--right on the beach! The hotel is on Galt Ocean Mile, and is surrounded by many private condos, so the beach is relatively quiet and almost deserted at times--very nice!! We stayed in a standard room which was clean and comfortable--the in room microwave, refridgerator and safe were nice additions. For a few bucks more, I saw the suites, and they are redone with flat-screen tvs, granite countertops and nice couches--along with an ocean view. I would definitely recommend getting one of these suites. We did not eat in the restaurant or use the bar, and these two facilities often appeared empty. Overall, though this is an excellent hotel for the money. The pool, hot-tub, outside lounge chairs and beachfront location are outstanding. Do not let some of the other reviews intimidate you--this is a great hotel for the price.
