“Little Gem”

I selected the hotal because of all the positive reviews I read, It is inexpensive and in a prime location on A1A near beches. It is not new, but the rooms are big, very clean and quite comfortable. There are lovely outdoor patios and two swimming pools. I am looking forward to staying at this hotel next time I am in Ft. Lauderdale.

“a lovely place to stay”

I enjoyed every moment of my stay at Paradise by the Sea. It was conveniently located 2 blocks away from the beach, the room was clean, and the staff was very friendly. We had three people stay in a room with two doubles. When two friends came over to have lunch, the cleaning staff asked if we would need more towels for the five of us instead of assuming that we were putting more people in the room than allow. Overall, my stay was very comfortable and i would definitely recommend it to others!

“Great hotel, definitely worth the cost”

We checked in rather early and we were very lucky to get the room at 11am. It was a room with a full kitchen and a living area. Everything was very nice and clean. We found out the toilet broken one day, but it was fixed in 5 minutes after we told about it, great service! The hotel has two areas - both have pools. We didn't get to the 2nd one, but ours had a heated pool. The parking lot was almost full every time we came (and that was kinda late), we always took the last spot (or may be 1-2 have left?) - seems that they have exactly number of parking places as the rooms. Anyway we always had a spot visible from our room, so not a single problem. It seems to have just enough of everything - very effective, as long as they don't have (and don't pay) whatever is not necessary. The beach is 2 blocks away, that is not even 5 minutes walk. There is a WinnDixie in 2 minutes ride. Since we had a full kitchen with whatever is necessary, it was convinent. So, a great place to stay, if in the area, definitely would consider this hotel to stay again!

“Great little place for the money”

Big room, lots of stuff in it (fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker etc). Very clean. Huge bed. Walking distance (300 yds) from centre of town with several bars and restaurants. Very convenient for Ft Lauderdale as it is right on the A1a main coastal route. No bar or shop on site but two pools and lots of tables and chairs outside the rooms to sit and chat etc.

Nice tropical decor around the pools, grills to use, close to grocery, cvs, walgreens, the fishing pier, Had a pile of beach toys, chairs, etc that you could borrow and take to the beach. Very friendly staff. Two pools! Only complaint is the spring mattress, not so great....I will definately stay here again!

“Very clean and great location”

We live in Florida and take little excursions to beach towns now and again. This is a very clean hotel. it is hard to maintain anything near the ocean but the staff does a great job. This is a hotel not a resort. We are more interested in the beach which is one block away and the town night life which is three blocks away. If you want to hang at a hotel and drink at the bar or get a massage, this isn't what your looking for. But, if you want a clean room with comfortable beds close to the beach and town than this is it. The hotel offers a mini kitchen with everything you need. I always check the refrigerator first and it was spotless. I recommend this place and actually, this was my third time staying there. hope this helps you in your search for a place to stay.

“nice stay”

Good option for rest in a quiet area, quiet and beautiful beaches. Restaurants and shops nearby at walking distance. I believed it was ON the beach, it is not. But is a short walk, 2 blocks. Room was with old-fashion,florida-style decor, but was huge. It has full kitchen and oven, microwave, full-sized fridge, full equipped kitchen, also a dining room with a 4-chair table.I would go back. Reasonably priced. Would go back.

“Excellent Service”

The hotel was what I expected upon arrival with the photos shown and other reviews. The beach is a short walk and is beautiful. This is not a fancy hotel although I could tell the staff makes an effort to keep it clean. The staff was very friendly and asked us many times in passing if we needed anything. I'd go back.

“Typical Resort Hotel”

It is just what we expect from a resort hotel. They had chairs and pool items available! It is very close to the ocean (about a two block walk). Pool area was kept up. No complaints!!!!!
