Property is dated and in need of updating. During our stay there was a heavy rainstorm and the hallways were flooded, causing a dangerous situation. Despite numerous complaints it took several hours to clean up the mess. The setting itself is beautiful, and for every wonderful staff member we found several that were extremely rude. We probably will not be returning.

What’s good here is GREAT. And what’s not good, is awful. The good news is that i was upgraded to an incredible room. MASSIVE, well appointed- chargers next to bed which i always love and the view was stunning. Door opened to a gorgeous deck (not private) with stunning view right on the ocean. However, facilities need upgrading and worst of all there were not one but TWO cockroaches in my room. I called to let them know and all they gave me was an additional hour as “late check out”. They also provide two free bottles of water, which is nice- every hotel should do this, but not all do, so i appreciate when they do.

Worth every penny. What a perfect spot to unwind in a relaxing, beautiful atmosphere with incredible oceanside views and stunning beach front. Food was excellent, service was impeccable, rooms were spacious, very clean, and elegantly decorated. Absolutely recommend. We have come to Florida often and this was by far our favorite stay/accommodations.

It’s a nice property right on the beach which is awesome for sure. But as far as value for money, absolutely not. I think if I weee to have coughed too loud I would have been charged for it. I rated the parking high for convenience but at 48 USD per night for valet and no self parking option, I would prefer to park it myself. I couldn’t justify going back. But I made the decision to stay there so my bad. We stayed at another hotel a mile up the road for three nights at the same cost as one night at the Pelican. Not at all the same tier of hotel but the increased cost is in no way justified.

The property was lovely, but our treatment at checkout was disappointing and frustrating. The staff member, Daina or Daini, was rude and short with my husband and seemed to want him out of the way. It was so obvious that my husband actually mentioned to her that she was being rude. Being left with that final resort experience turned us off to returning in the future.

From a wall outlet not working, the elevator stopping on every floor or not working at all despite having 12 floors. Them saying they can't check bags or can't do a late checkout, then someone else saying you can. Getting food poisoning from eating at a restaurant that is double or triple the price it should be. I will not be staying there again.

It was so beautiful we didn’t want to come home. We loved our stay, the room was very clean, the views to the beach and the small balcony. We did breakfast by the beach while watching the sunrise highly recommended! The staff was amazing, the convenience of a bar on site was the perfect ending. We can’t wait to return!

Overpriced! At almost $600 a night, plus $48 a night for parking, $42 a night resort fee, $196 deposit….. food was great but overpriced and not much of a selection for the New Years Eve dinner; drinks ok and also over priced … you have to pay for shampoo, conditioner, and body wash when most hotels offer them complementary..

COMFORT AND CHARM
We have at the Pelican Grand for a number of years. The hotel is lovely, rooms are very comfortable. This visit, the elevators and dining room were being renovated, something is always being built or renovated. I just wish we had informed before our stay. We probably would've stayed there anyway, it would have been nice to be told in advance. Beach is beautiful!
