Good hotel; excellent staff!

Posted Mar 26, 2015
Pros: Close to the airport & the beach. The building is getting slightly older, but is very well maintained.
Cons: Better coordination of early airport shuttle; a large family that had booked the early shuttle was 'bumped' for more urgent, but unscheduled guests.
Location: ate at the Rustic Inn (REAL sea food place!); went to Dania Beach; water taxi; art museum & galleries
We had a wonderful stay! The staff were very helpful & accommodating. The continental breakfast was excellent!

Old hotel, but worth the price overall

Posted Mar 24, 2015
The hotel was old, but the room i stayed in was renovated and acceptable. I think if you need someplace to lay your head for the night than this is a good choice.

Cons: Faster check in. Elevators.
Check in was awful. I arrived at midnight and had to wait 45 minutes to check in. Only 2 people from shuttle, but other people in line. Check in clerk was extremely slow. Fortunately, he gave me a handicap room on the 1rst floor after telling me my room was on second floor with no elevator.

Nice Hotel for Quick Stay

Posted Mar 17, 2015
Pros: I liked the remodeled part that we stayed in and the breakfast was great as well!
Cons: I think they are already improving a lot, it will just take time.
Location: We just used it for a quick night to stay, near the airport
My husband and I stayed here on our way to the Keys. We got in after midnight because our flight was delayed. We had no problems checking in. We found our room easily and were pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. It was all recently updated and everything was clean. In the morning, we enjoyed the free breakfast before we left, but we noticed that they were in the middle of updating the hotel and I think we lucked out and got the remodeled part! It was a nice place for a quick overnight stay, close to the airport and easy to find.

Do NOT Go Here

Posted Mar 11, 2015
Pros: Leaving it
Cons: Everything
This is a motel with staff that are clueless. Bugs were crawling all over the sink. Parking is a joke. When trying to check in their whole system was shut down, and Expedia was on the phone asking what was going on .The breakfast was nothing I walked in and walked straight out

Nice for a one night stay before our Cruise.

Posted Mar 8, 2015
Pros: The gift shop was nice, the bar/restaurant was nice, and the shuttle organizer and driver were very nice. It was hassle free getting to the port.
It was a decent place. The shuttle to the Cruise Port was great!! Nice bus and very organized. All in all a very standard but decent place.

Adequate stay before cruising

Posted Mar 7, 2015
Front staff unfriendly and amount not adequate for large volume of influx. Our shower was not able to be used, the actual handle was missing...fortunately we had a jacuzzi tub, so bathed in it as line at front desk was so long, would not have been resolved before having to check out!! One good thing that would enable us to return here was that due to a delayed embarkation on our ship, the hotel allowed late checkout and the free shuttles were awesome!

Good place to stay while waiting for a cruise.

Posted Mar 7, 2015
Pros: Good service, clean rooms.
Cons: Had to get keys remade three times, very sensitive to getting demagnetized..
Location: Close to all the beaches and shopping.
Very comfortable rooms, within walking distance of restaurants and bars and close to the airport and cruise ports.
