Stay at Rodeway Inn

Posted Apr 14, 2014
Pros: Convenience and price
Location: Didn't do anything
It was good for what we needed. A place to sleep and eat between airplanes. Funky but clean and comfortable.

OK Hotel

Posted Apr 14, 2014
Pros: Not much. Paid for a shuttle that never came to Ship terminal to pick me up. Had to take a taxi and paid again.
Cons: Timing to catch shuttle should be honoured when one pays and gets up early to leave. Waited an hour and 45 minutes and listened to awful jokes.
This was my first cruise. Shuttle never picked me up at the terminal when I came off the ship. Had to take a taxi and pay again. I now understand that these others folks are not allowed to come on the terminal property. It cost me extra money and glad I had some funds left to do so.

Pros: Cruise port shuttle
Cons: Lowered price for the poor accommodations.

It was ok. You get what you pay for. We used the room in order to catch a cruise. Not much more to say. Good for a one night stay.

Good Hotel, close to airport and cruise port.

Posted Apr 6, 2014
Pros: Close to airport and cruise port.
Cons: Grounds could be improved, looked like maybe they are working on .
Location: Location was great for our purpose from Airport and Cruise port. Did not do anything else near by.
Great Restaurant attached to hotel. Great shuttle service from airport and also to cruise port. Always on time hardly any time to wait.

Good hotel for cruisers

Posted Apr 6, 2014
Pros: The landscaping of the grounds is wonderful. The goofy stick-your-head-in-and-take-a-photo signs are enjoyable. The General Manager ("Izzy").
Cons: The physical facilities (buildings) need a major facelift.
Location: The location is excellent (near Cruiseport and Airport). Walking to nearby restaurants (beyond Reef Inn) is difficult as sidewalks disappear.
Good hotel offering lots of services (free and/or reasonable priced) for people taking cruises (to/from Port Everglades). General Manager (Izzy) goes out of his way to keep guests informed of upcoming hotel shuttles to/from CruisePort and Airport.
