“Will definately stay here again!”

The hotel was extremely clean and the service was excellent. It is conveniently located within walking distance to the beach and bars/restaurants/night life. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

“A very good value for the money and the location.”

We were very pleased with this hotel, which cost us at least half as much if not two-thirds less than neighboring hotels. When you pay so little, you can expect to make some sacrifices, such as accepting dated decor or low cost linens. With that understood, having a hotel half a block from the beach in Ft. Lauderdale with a stocked kitchenette for that price was very exciting for us. The staff assisted us daily, and we had no trouble with our reservation or parking permits.

“Good deal”

Very close to the beach, food and shopping. The condition of this hotel was much better than I expected. Rooms were slightly dirty but nothing to cause a fuss about. I had a standard room which had a kitchen sink, dishes, hot-plate, and refrigerator. Courtyard is beautiful. Location is less than 6 miles ($20w/tip cab fare) from the airport. I will return.

“great for the money”

We just needed a one night stay before going to our resort for a week. The room was very spacious and clean. Best of all was the convenience to the beach and Bahia Mar dock and bar.

“A good place to stay”

We wanted a good hotel for a affordable price and this was the one! Excellent location from the beach and all around the town. The bus station is right around the corner and the staffs are extremely helpful. Some rooms are being renovated and they are getting better. The owner was very informative and nice!

“Location, location, location”

Sea Beach Plaza is typical of the old 1950's-style motels located near the beach in Ft. Lauderdale. If you are ready to enjoy these historic survivors of mid-century Florida for what they are, you might find something charming here that other guests could see as just run-down and out-of-date. The owners of Sea Beach Plaza make the effort to keep the exterior and rooms maintained but let's face it, this is a fifty-plus year old property and it shows its underlying age. If you are expecting a Fairfield Inn, go somewhere else and of course be prepared to pay a lot more. What nobody can dispute here is the location. A couple of hundred feet from the door you will find yourself on the same beautiful beach shared by the Sheraton and the Marriott. You can easily walk to the central bar and restaurant attractions of the beach and the neighborhood is very quiet and safe. Factor all this in - along with the very reasonable price - and this motel is worth considering.

Older hotel, well kept, spacious rooms, good value for the price. No extra amenities besides swimming pool and free coffee in the front office. Good location

“Not impressed but the price is right.”

The hotel common areas are run down but the room is comfortable. The price was right.

“It will get better”

The hotel when we arrived at 2 am, was closed. However, we did have our keys ready for us. The room we stayed in was not good at all. I am not picky but it was bad. There was no way we were staying there another night. In the morning I spoke to the manager. He was so great. He gave us his newly remodeled room. He just purchased this hotel and the remodeling looks great. So within next few months the prices on this place will go sky high. When we return to Ft.Lauderdale, we will be staying here!
