Overall check in was super easy. Hotel is literally across from the beach which is convenient. They do give 2 free daily chairs with the resort fee. Was annoying umbrella was extra but not unreasonably priced.

We loved staying at this hotel and the front desk staff was incredible - they were so friendly and caring to our dog, Gus and always gave him treats when they saw him. The two young ladies (one who was always wearing colorful and amazing jackets) was so great. We really enjoyed our stay here and can't wait to come back!

Many restaurants around Hotel within a few minutes walk. Shenoya Thomas assistant manager front office is super friendly, helpful, and provides great customer service. It was a pleasure to meet her. Nathan was very helpful to set up my TV. I recommend a shower curtain for the shower to prevent water splashing out

I really appreciated the hospitality from the front desk upon arrival, as we arrived so late in the evening and they were so accommodating. the beds were really comfortable ad the options to eat surrounding the property were great. I would stay here again.

Resort is pretty and clean, rooms are lovely, and pool is small but very clean and towels are plentiful. Overall the resort is relatively affordable so the catch is the location being in an undesirable area that may feel Unsafe to some . No cafe, and hotel restaurant food was 2 stars at best, but pricey, so dining options are very limited during the day if you don’t want to leave the beach area. Umbrellas 30$ a day and only 2 chairs per room even if you are a family of 4. No beach service but wet Willie’s across the street will let you take slushies to go. If you arrive earlier than 4pm you have to pay 100$ to check in or wait until 4. We arrived at 10am and found it to be worth it but something to be aware of. Overall a comfortable stay, but would stay else where due to unavailability of dining options.

It has great potential to be top notch as the room was new and in good shape. Staff was courteous but we were not too satisfy with cleanliness. We requested on two occasions to just clean the bathroom and the tile area (as well as fill up the shower gel container) as the footprints from sand or dust were visible after coming back from the beach. Both times the room was fixed and dusted superficially, but we noticed that that sink or shower area or tile floors had not been cleaned; nor was the shower gel replenished. We also requested one extra pillow but strangely enough they did not have one. But I believe this is easily fixable and our overall stay was enjoyable and relaxing.

The food was exquisite to me. I had purchased buffet breakfasts through Expedia and that was not the case. Breakfast had to be chosen from the menu and they told me how much money I had to consume which was less than what I had paid. The hotel is modest but nice, with a beautiful view from the restaurant area. Very convenient to have the beach in front. It has a bar and they offer a free welcome drink. I would return to this hotel.

This is our favorite place and our 4 th year coming to the Sonesta on spring break. The staff is excellent and we love seeing the same faces year after year! They have always been accommodating and the property is always clean! It is right on the beach and there are loads of good eating places within walking distance. Can’t wait to return soon!

Property was right on the beach. The pool was heated which was VERY nice. Using a key card to come and go any place in the hotel was kind of annoying. No microwave in our room. Valet was $$$

Nice hotel, great view of the ocean. A bit confusing breakfast buffet situation. On Expedia they advertise breakfast buffet, but they actually don’t offer that. You have to order the food. It’s a sit down restaurant.

We had a nice stay. The ocean view from our room was lovely. The pool was the perfect temperature. The restaurant was fine, with a somewhat limited menu and slow but friendly service. We had a small issue with our room that wasn’t resolved but on checkout they waived one of the resort fees as compensation, which was more than fair. Overall a beautiful hotel and a great view of the beach!

Other than having to pay valet daily to park this was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. I went during spring break and surprisingly the hotel was extremely quiet for it to be across the street from the beach. Very clean comfy and cozy.

Shower didn’t work or was hard to figure out. Water wasn’t hot. Neighbor was smoking pot came through vents in middle of night. Thin walls. Def not what I expected having stayed at Royal Sonesta Puerto Rico. Very different. Tiny pool. Loud at night. Inside and outside. Tiny beds smallest room stayed in years. For money paid not my best booking decision by far.

the property was clean and good location. we arrived at 11 am on check in day and usually hotels will get you in the room early if it is available. They charged me $50 extra to check in 4 hours earlier. Also we paid $50 per day for parking and at one point our car was sitting outside of valet with all our belongings in it and they left it unlocked. Luckily no one stole anything from our car but they was irresponsible on their part.

The location of the property is great. Access to the beach and other restaurants, and stores are walking distance. The room wasn't too clean. Hair on the chairs, and dust and sand on the office chair which was leather. The bathroom wasn't too clean either. Other then that it was good. I would stay again. I would just like them to know clean the bathrooms, floors and chairs.

My friends and I stayed here for spring break and enjoyed the safety, amenities, and staff efficiency at Sonesta! The location was amazing and within walking distance to a lot of what the Fort Lauderdale beach area has to offer. The property is also pretty close to the downtown area as well and Ubers were very affordable when it came to exploring the FTL areas we were not in walking distance of. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the resort was clean with lots of amenities including a gorgeous pool/patio area!

Staff was excellent. Evelyn at the front desk checked us in and couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Valet and housekeeping were also very pleasant.

The staff was amazing, they were super helpful. The room was clean and nice. It’s in a great location right across the street from the beach. It’s walkable to the tons of restaurants and shopping. I would definitely recommend it
