Very nice across the street from the beach

Posted Sep 14, 2014
Pros: Very convenient location across from the beach and within walking distance of the Galleria, restaurants, and bars. Nice pool area
Three night stay that absolutely could not have been better. Fantastic sushi restaurant, Saia, located in the hotel. The best experience I've ever had with the staff of this hotel. From the valet staff, front desk, housekeeping, restaurant and bar. They are very friendly and extremely helpful. My room was neat, clean, and very comfortable. I will definitely stay here again when I visit Ft Lauderdale.

Pay for everything

Posted Sep 10, 2014
Pros: comfort of the bed.
Cons: Include more services: coffee/tea in the room, beach long chair, better rates for restaurants, no music past midnight.
Location: location is fine, close to the mall, small cheap restaurants nearby but too cheap in quality.
Room is ok but no balcony and that is useful when it's too hot outside and we want to be close to the room. No long chair available on the beach from the hotel, unless you pay and it is suppose to be a beach hotel. Parking for guess is expansive. Could hear music during the night even if it was far. No coffee in the room! Restaurants too expansive. Lots of people for events, the pool is too crowded during the day.

Great service!

Pros: The hotel staff, cleanliness and comfort of the rooms, and being beach front.
Cons: The pool area is too small for the size of the hotel, sometimes it was hard to find a place to sit. Making a spa appointment needs to be easier too.
Location: Hotel is beach front which was very nice, there are a few bars and restaurants near by, and a convenience store. Starbucks is just a few blocks away.
The hotel staff was very nice and helpful whenever we needed them. They know of great local places to go and will call a cab for you if needed. You can also print out your boarding passes from the front desk if you are flying. The pool area bartender, Anthony is great! He makes the best drinks! In the SAIA restaurant, James is the best waiter there, so ask for his area if you go. Bistro was a nice place to eat at too. Breakfast buffet was a tad pricey for my taste, but the food is always good. There are a few bars and restaurants nearby, including an Eagles bar called The Parrot that was a lot of fun. If you need your Starbucks kick, there is one just a few blocks over the bridge. Its actually a nice walk to take in the mornings. Truluck's is a great seafood place to try. Also just a few blocks over the bridge. Proper attire is required, but the food and service is amazing. After dinner make your way next door to the Blue Martini bar. They always have DJ's or live music there. As for the appearance of the hotel, I thought the outside wasn't as appealing as the website photos made it to be. The fitness area is also smaller than I thought. Me and 4 other ladies went for a girls weekend, and overall had a great time. I would recommend this place.

Great for the Price!

This hotel looks very nice online. Although it doesn't live up to the pictures it is a nice hotel and pretty clean. I recommend getting the corner room. They have the best views. Instead of only having one window you get two and one of them floor to ceiling. The pool is pretty small but at least the beach is right across the hotel. Why go to the pool when you have the beach!! The beach area near this hotel is further from the more congested area of Ft. Lauderdale beach, which is great if you want to relax. If you want to party your just about a mile away (feels shorter) from the Beach Place Towers where all the action is at! I think the hotel is great because of its affordability and location.
