Our pre-cruise hotel

Posted Jun 2, 2014
Had a little trouble w/ airport shuttle... 1) we arrived at a different terminal than normal for our airlines & it wasn't related to the driver 2) he arrived 5 mins sooner than estimated & had to continue on. Attempt #2: Neighboring hotel shuttle was in the area & we were given the description of the shuttle & drivers name, we also explained Terminal 3 vs. 4. On the look out, we jumped & flagged the shuttle as he passed us without slowing down. Attempt #3: Got the "the driver was there and couldn't find you but we'll send another shuttle again" story. 30 mins later, I get a call from the shuttle saying they are at the pick up point and can't see me. I stayed on the phone until we played the "do you see me now" game as they were at terminal 4 and had to circle around. Total time from my initial call to stepping onto the spacious, air-conditioned Mercedes Benz shuttle = 115 mins. AWKWARD shuttle ride to the hotel because we were all irritated & I understood everything being said about us as I'm bilingual... Thankfully, they gave us an early check in. I frequent the marriott chains often and I know this shuttle experience was an isolated incidence. Once checked in, all of our expectations were met & the countdown for our vacation cruise was on.

Nice hotel, renovations in progress

Posted May 30, 2014
The hotel had renovations in progress and the odor of paint was strong especially out in the hall! They were working on our room repairing what looked like water damage in the ceiling. The breakfast was very nice and provided free transportation from the airport and to the cruise ship.

Was a horrible value for 139, 69 would have agreed

Posted May 23, 2014
Rooms old rough sheets dirty halls not a real suite as we. Had 2 couples and there is only a half wall bathrooms dated. Not worth anywhere near 139!

bed was comfortable-breakfast was good

Posted May 17, 2014
Pros: breakfast was well stocked-internet was good
Cons: corridors should be vacuumed- doors should be cleaned
Location: close to small shopping center-otherwise out of the way- close to the airport
hotel going through remodel-noisy and dirty in areas

Great Staff!

Posted May 10, 2014
Pros: Close to the Airport and nice room.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Airport and Burger King next door so we didn't have to drive anywhere as we were major tired.
Since we had a very early flight and would miss breakfast, they fixed us a 'to go' bag of bananas, apple and muffin! Quite Nice and very appericated!

Great as a stop over before cruises

Posted May 4, 2014
Pros: Close to shops and restaurants, and complimentary airport shuttle and shuttle to cruise port is great.
Cons: Lobby appear, service elevators for staff
Great location, easy access to shopping and restaurants, close to airport and cruise port. Shuttle from airport took longer to arrive than what the hotel promised - not pleasant to have to stand in the Florida heat watching more than half a dozen other hotel shuttle come and pick up other passenger who arrived after us. The lobby looks like it's in midst of renovation still and with only 2 small elevators it can take long time for one to come and the have to share it with hotel staff moving supplies. Breakfast is okay, Being so close to the highway and on ramp, it can be very noisy.

Convenient hotel, near Cruiseport and Airport.

Posted Apr 28, 2014
Pros: Location.
Cons: Jacuzzi tub jets were not working. Pull out sofa was not comfortable.
Very efficient staff at a busy time when we arrived. Accommodating even though we arrived early. Free airport shuttle service every hour. The bed was comfortable but the pull out couch was severely lacking in size and comfort for my 2 teenage boys. We were there for 1 night and it served our needs.

Good service, spacious room

Posted Apr 16, 2014
Pros: Good service, spacious room and nice breakfast
Cons: The bathroom floor could be cleaner
Location: We just stayed one night and ordered food delivery.
We got a good sized double room with excellent customer service especially the breakfast people.
