As many others have noted, the hotel is super well located and the rooms are simple but spacious. The restaurant downstairs was super convenient and good with nice seating right on the beach. I would give the property higher ratings if it weren't for the passive-aggressive nature of the front office manager, Allie, who works the desks mornings and daytimes. Others have also pointed out her poor attitude. We didn't have any conflict with her, but we were really surprised that someone who works in hospitality--and as a manager no less--could be that unfriendly and unhelpful. Allie made us feel hesitant to ask for anything, and most days, didn't even look up from her laptop when we came in the door. This is really odd behavior for the hospitality business, and even more so for a small hotel, where part of what you are supposed to get for your value is a bit more personal experience. At least treat people with a smile, even if you have to fake it.
