Friendly staff, beautiful views of the beach, lovely rooms, easy parking on site, and a delicious restaurant. We can’t say enough about the private beach and the amenities. We would love to stay again!

We have been here several times and love everything about it. The rooms are clean and comfortable with nice bedding. You cant beat the view. The restaurant is fantastic. I didn’t realize there would be an additional resort fee and parking fee in addition that were not included in my booking. It was an additional $150 for 2 nights. I was still very happy with everything. It just cost more than expected.

I would highly recommended staying here. It is a beautiful little resort with everything you need to have a wonderful time. On the beach, good restaurant, awesome little pool area and friendly staff 24/7 with a small gift shop for your emergency needs

Beach-Beach-Beach-can't say enough about this property view is by far the best there is! We've been coming here for past 5yrs now and won't stay anywhere else, Highly recommend to anyone looking for quiet getaway beach wonderland, restaurant overlooking the ocean is a added bonus!

I would give it 4.5 stars . When it comes to this hotel it is all about location and convenience . Literally situated on the sandy beach , you cannot go wrong if you are a beach lover ! The suites are large and all facing the ocean ! They have kitchenette with a fridge and microwave . The parking is available for a small fee (15 per night plus tax ) . As for the negatives : the hotel could benefit from some upgrade . The pool is small and not inviting ( to me that was not an issue since I was there for the ocean ) . Staff were overall nice except the ones at the restaurant downstairs . They can benefit from some retraining . The sandbar grill food was average and expensive overall . Cleaning services of the room could do a better job .

This is a very nice small hotel. We booked a king oceanfront room on the 6th floor for one night. The room was clean, nicely decorated, and had a small balcony with a beautiful ocean view. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had a shower/tub combo and offered toiletries. Parking was $25/nite. And they do charge a resort fee of $40/day. I believe that includes beach set up and beach towels which we didn’t use. It is about 20 minutes from the Ft. Lauderdale airport. It has a small bar/grill on site, but we did not eat there. We would definitely stay here again.

Small hotel on the beach! Balcony from our room with table and chairs with a beautiful ocean view. Great Restaurant on site, no need to go anywhere. Beach chairs and shade umbrellas for guests was awesome. Loved it!

Eating at the hotel restaurant right near the ocean is always a treat. I am a local and this is my favorite retreat spot for a night on the beach. I read by the pool until my room is ready.

Every room is beachfront at this small, wonderful hotel. All the rooms have balconies facing the beach. Sunrises are gorgeous! The staff is warm, friendly and accommodating. I unexpectedly had to stay longer in Ft Lauderdale because of flight issues so I returned the following week and I felt like a family member returning home. Ask for Jackie at breakfast on the beach!

I read the reviews prior to booking this trip and it did not disappoint. Staff was helpful and enthusiastic. Food and the onsite restaurant grill was delicious. Pool and beach towels always available. Beach chairs set up each morning, ready to go for the day. No complaints. Would recommend!!

As many others have noted, the hotel is super well located and the rooms are simple but spacious. The restaurant downstairs was super convenient and good with nice seating right on the beach. I would give the property higher ratings if it weren't for the passive-aggressive nature of the front office manager, Allie, who works the desks mornings and daytimes. Others have also pointed out her poor attitude. We didn't have any conflict with her, but we were really surprised that someone who works in hospitality--and as a manager no less--could be that unfriendly and unhelpful. Allie made us feel hesitant to ask for anything, and most days, didn't even look up from her laptop when we came in the door. This is really odd behavior for the hospitality business, and even more so for a small hotel, where part of what you are supposed to get for your value is a bit more personal experience. At least treat people with a smile, even if you have to fake it.

This is an older property nestled between two larger, more luxurious resorts. It’s located in an excellent location between Fort Lauderdale and Lauderdale by the Sea and directly on the beach. It has a beautiful views from the room. Staff is friendly and helpful! However, this hotel is not suitable for a longer stay. We had a suite which was minimally furnished and had no toaster or stove. Some pluses include easy parking next to building, beach chairs included in resort fee, nice pool area and restaurant on site.

Sheets need to be laundered!
This hotel is decidedly no-frills, a fact that was obscured by other overly positive reviews. To set the record straight, it is a basic establishment. The air conditioning is an in-wall unit that generates excessive noise. Additionally, the sheets have an unmistakable odor. It's common knowledge that not all hotels adhere to strict linen-changing policies, even the five-star ones, but at least those don't come with the musty, stale smell that pervaded here. The combination of the loud AC and the malodorous sheets contributed to a sleepless night. Moreover, the bathtub is showing signs of wear with noticeable rust at the bottom. The sole redeeming feature is the hotel's convenient access to a picturesque beach. Waking up to the bright sun and the calming sounds of the waves might just compensate for the hotel's deficiencies, should you choose to overlook them."

The access to the beach and privacy of the beach area is a big plus. The staff was friendly and helpful. The downside for me came in the room itself. I stayed in a junior suite, room 103 specifically. The downside of this room is it shares a wall with the kitchen, which is cleaned and prepped starting at 5:30 every morning which will keep you from getting any rest after that time. My room also had several cleanliness issues including blood stains on the shower curtain and heavily soiled lounge cushions on the patio. They also charged me for the $4 bottles of water in the room that I did not drink so might as well drink them because they’re going to say you drank them regardless.
