Small nice hotelPosted Jun 14, 2015
Pros: Close to everything
Cons: The internet. In this day and age there should be internet available property wide.
Location: It is near the beach and eating places. Close to downtown also
Nice small hotel close to beach. Rooms were clean and the staff was great. A negative item about the hotel was the internet. They advertise that they have internet but you can only use it in the courtyard outside. No internet in the rooms. Other than that, the hotel was close to eating places. I would recommend this hotel to friends

Great Location even better price!Posted Jun 8, 2015
Pros: Staff, Cleanliness and location
Cons: Ice maker
Location: This is one block off the beach and is easy to walk to multiple places.
I would say that I am a pretty frequent traveler and have stayed in all types of properties from The Ritz to the shabby beach motels. This is not a resort but its location feels like it is. It is one block off the beach, convenient to walk multiple places and has been completely upgraded. This is not a room service and wait on you by the pool location (there is no pool! ...lol) The staff was amazingly helpful and had a great attitude. She personally showed us to our room and explained the amenities that they do have. Its clean and fresh and for the price a great deal. I would definitely stay there again.

Nice, quiet hotel near the beach.Posted May 27, 2015
The renovated hotel was in a perfect location near the beach, shops and nightlife. Rooms were clean and spacious. The hotel owners were wonderful people. Very accommodating to late check-in and the limited parking. Definitely recommended and will stay again, soon!

Very peaceful, cute B&B.Posted May 11, 2015
Pros: Peaceful, clean, comfortable bed, great little courtyard. Staff, Al and Regina, were very nice and helpful.
Location: Walkable beachfront just a block or two away.
The Drift is a great place to experience the action of the waterfront but still have a peaceful stay in quaint, clean accommodations.

Friendly staff, great locationPosted Apr 21, 2015
Pros: Very quiet, walking distance to a lot of activities, great staff
Cons: Soda vending machines would have been nice
Location: Walking distance to the beach, water taxi, fast food, good resturaunts, bars, etc.
We stayed here after a cruise to make better connections on the way home. Without a car, the location close to the beach, water taxi access, and lots of resturaunt choices was ideal. The room was small but recently renovated and well maintained. The staff was extremely helpful. They accommodated early check-in and late check-out, and even provided beach towels, chairs, and an umbrella.

Try the Drift!Posted Apr 5, 2015 on Hotels
A great place to stay and avoid the crush and cost of larger hotels in the Fort Lauderdale area... close enough to everything that you won't feel out of the loop, though. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. I'd definitely go back, if I were in Ft. Lauderdale again!

A small gem in Fort LauderdalePosted Apr 3, 2015 on Hotels
Great location, great price, great hotel! We are not fans of huge resort hotels and found the Drift Hotel to be perfect. One short block from the beach and you are away from the insanity of Spring Break crowds. It has a great courtyard for relaxing or enjoying the free breakfast. They also provide towels and chairs to bring to the beach. The staff is great too.
