“THE BEST WITHOUT QUESTION!”

I have stayed in many good hotels in Ft lauderdale--NONE even come CLOSE to the Ritz--above the beauty and quality of the hotel is the staff. EVERYONE was genuinely personable and concerned about making me comfortable and welcome. They were upbeat and positive and helpful to the smallest detail---I travel a great deal to SE Asia and am used to that type of service there---but it is rare in a hotel in the States. The Ritz has won me over---5 stars that could be 10!

“Pretty much perfect”

Excellent hotel. I mean...it's the Ritz, you expect a certain level of perfection going in. It doesn't disappoint though. Ritz Ft. Lauderdale comes through in exactly every way you would expect it to. The only thing that wasn't perfect, was the weather....and even their concierge can't be expected to control that :)

“great hotel”

Overall a great place to stay. great central location on the beach front. the staff is very nice and courteous with great service. only thing i can suggest is, with the amount you pay for the stay, the least they can do is provide free wifi.

“Perfect but Pricey”

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights in an ocean front, king bedroom. Everything was exceptional from the bedroom to the bathroom. Though it would have been nice to be on a higher floor (we were on 8) to have a better view of the ocean. The pool is on 7 and though pretty to look at, I felt we paid for a nicer view. Didn't request a room change, so my fault. Service was very attentive, as you would expect. Definitely would stay again. Everything is very expensive, so be prepared. But so worth it!

“Great hotel for a relaxing beach vacation”

Great hotel with the renowned Ritz-Carlton service. Hotel sits on a perfect stretch of beach. Fort Lauderdale has really reinvented itself as a laid back beach goers' paradise.

“Luxury, service, old school”

After a mild complaint about problems with my first room, I was moved to a beautiful room that made my trip wonderful. The furnishings etc are highest quality. The service is attentive and competent. Breakfast on the outdoor street-level patio was a joy. Later in the week I moved to a new trendy hotel down the street, and the contrast was harsh. Nothing worked, nobody knew their job, and the interiors were made of fiberboard and purple paint. Give me the old school luxury every time!

“No sign, but that worked out well!”

We had a mess-up with our car rental, were already two hours delayed and then, could not find the hotel because there was no sign. We drove past three times before finally calling for specific directions. My husband was grumpy with the young lady at the desk about their "hiding the hotel" and to apologize, we got upgraded to an oceanfront suite! EVERYONE was attentive. The concierges were wonderful. The rooms were tastefully decorated: not too frou-frou. The food at the hotel was excellent as were the wines. We asked to see our original room, and even that one would have been lovely! We will go back.

“Worked hard at customer service”

Twice during our stay, we were given something for free because the staff was not happy with the level of service provided. The first item we received was a room upgrade because the front desk forgot to call my cell phone when our room was ready. The second item we received was 2 free drinks at the pool bar because the wait staff took too long (in the managers estimation, not ours) to deliver us our lunch.

“Talk about Service”

I can't beginning to tell you how GREAT service we got. Staring from you pull into the hotel entrance. You get treated as VIP. It's like being president with everybody their to serve you. Very professional and friendly staff from valet, doorman, front desk. They are very attentive to your needs. The hotel staff were the best. Could not have ask for a better experience. I really have no complain about stay. Very clean room and real nice bathroom. The hotel really sets the standard for the hospitality industry. Excellent location with many places to eat with in walking distance along with excellent restaurant onsite. Hotel is ring on the beach. I would stay again for sure.
