“The Best”

I never respond to these survey's unless I want to rant about a horrible experiece; however, our stay at the Westin was above all expectations. Simply put, it was the best hotel experience I've ever had. Staff was frienly and responsive, the property was super clean, the location on the beach was perfect, and the food was even good.

“Westin accross from the beach, what's not to like?”

loved this place, will definately come back again and again. What's not to like, above average Hotel, nice weather, and the beach. Be sure to try near by H2O restaurant, very good.

“Wonderful place to stay, very comfortable & modern, needs shuttle & a hottub”

The Westin was a very comfortable experience as far as hotels go. Everything is very modern in appearance with an artistic flair of geometric design in most of the decor done in soft blues and whites which gave a calming feeling along with the white linen scent that permeated throughout the hotel. The rooms had wonderful mattresses that had 5 in. of memory foam, enhancing a good night's sleep with several pillows and soft white sheets and duvets/comforters that were of a high quality and felt nice against the skin. The bathrooms were tastefully decorated in a simplistic graceful manner with marble and an open~base sink that housed your towels and wash cloths~the bathrooms are adequate in size but I prefer double sinks for extra toiletries (it was a single sink but made of marble also which added to the beauty of the bathroom.) We loved the ocean front rooms with 2 huge windows to view the water. It is located right on the beach and had a enclosed glass walkover bridge that was easily accessible to walk right on to the beach. The pool was simple but clean and plenty of seating etc. My one complaint is that there was no hottub at the pool area (there is one located in the spa but it costs $15 to use.) You do not need to rent a car, everything is walkable. The front desk can tell you of the trips to the Everglades, Venice of Florida watertaxi and snorkeling excursions (very reasonable.) Everything is close including restaurants. No rental car is needed.I recommend this hotel :)

“Excellent place to stay”

Great location. On the beach and close to so many restaurants and clubs. No need to rent a car, as all within walking distance. Pool and front desk staff very accommodating . Stayed with 7 other people and everyone loved it. Only complaint is that the wi-fi wasn't free........as little motels in the area all offered it at no charge. Will go back there in a flash.

“Great Hotel”

The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. Within walking distance there's a CVS where you can buy affordable souvenirs, drinks, and misc. items. Also, nightlife and resturants are all within walking distance. The beach is across the street and a skywalk is attached to the hotel that spans over the street to the beach. We had a wonderful time.

“Completely satisified!”

The Westin at Fort Lauderdale was an alternative to the Ritz Carlton which is where my friend's wedding was held and where other wedding festivities would originate from. I had missed the deadline to get the discounted rate for wedding guests at the more expensive Ritz and decided to book with the Westin. I am so glad I did! Beautiful hotel with awesome staff and great amenities including oceanview fitness center and Starbucks! My room was incredible to!!! Plus it was only two blocks away from the Ritz so all I had to do was walk to get to where I needed to be. Also I ended up saving lots of money because as it turned out, even the Ritz's discounted rate offered to wedding guests such as myself was still $100 more per night than that of the Westin!!! I enjoyed my 4 days and nights at the Westin Fort lauderdale very much!

“Will Go Back”

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Had a wonderful time in Ft. Lauderdale and will go back. We were able to watch the fireworks from our room.

“BEST Ft Lauderdale Stay EVER!”

Staff was EXTREMELY friendly and helpful! Hotel was in a great location! It was very CLEAN and our children even recieved a lot of cool free stuff from their Kids Program. We also left them for 8 hours in their Kids Club and they were completely safe, and loved EVERY minute of it! They said they can't wait to go back and neither can we!!! RECOMMEND highly!
