Location on the beach

Posted Dec 25, 2014
Good beach hotel, nice view from a king bed room ocean view. Pool area was overloaded and to small. Walkway to the beach is nice. Bathroomdoor is special and can not be closed completly.

Nice place, but parking is $34/day!!!

Posted Dec 24, 2014
Great hotel, not much you can walk to though. You may get a cheap rate, but everything here is extra and VERY expensive, so don't be fooled by the cheap room rate. They WILL get their $$ out of you :)

Clean and beautiful

Just be careful there are hidden fees. They charge for parking..... We were not aware until we got there but overall it was clean and beautiful!

Nice hotel close to the beach

Posted Dec 20, 2014
Pros: Clean, king size bed.
Cons: Too much noise (although it was probably because my room was next to the elevator).
Location: Near the beach and a pretty expensive restaurant named Shula.
Room was small and there was no ocean view from my room. But still excellent location and fair price. I would recommend it to couples who are here for a short vacation.

Nice hotel close to the beach, shopping, eats

Posted Dec 15, 2014
I've stayed here plenty and never let down by the friendly staff and great facilities. Beach location is perfect. Walking distance to everything. Top notch hotel in the area. Schula's Restaurant has some great steaks and seafood. Multiple bars, we enjoy the bar by the pool. Elevated walkway from pool to beach is convienant.

Pros: Beach was close and there was a walkway
The rooms were nice. Unless, you get the standard rooms, with a view of a wall about 1 foot from your window. The pool was outdated and the bar staff at the pool was not great. The pool towel guy was great and the pool was nice! They really nickel and dime you here on everything but if you don't mind that it's a nice place to stay.

Hotel connected with the beach with a bridge

Posted Dec 4, 2014
Pros: The place where the hotel is is great, nice view from the terrace of Starbucks on the boulevard and sea.
Cons: Pricing had to be lowered down
Location: There ia s good restaurant one block south, go there as the food is very good.
Good hotel voor staying at Ft Lauderdale. Rooms are nice. The beach is a little small but you have there free beds from the hotel. The sun is during the morning and afternoon shining on the beach and the pool but after 4PM the sun is gone during our stay in November. It is behind the buiilding. Only Valet parking is available for $ 32 per day what we found rather expensive. The breakfast is a buffet on Saturday en Sunday. That is ok but the hotel do not offer you slices of cheese or meat, very strange for a Westin hotel like this. Orange juice for $ 4,- per glass which comes out of a bottle seems to me not a fresh orange juice where we asked for. During the weekdays there is no breakfast buffet but only a menu which we found also rather expensive. But there is a Starbucks in the south building which serves als a good alternative for a breakfast.

Great hotel right on the beach

Posted Dec 3, 2014
Pros: Very comfortable room, great location, fantastic staff, good food.
Cons: Not much.
Very pleased with the hotel and its location. The staff was great - a special shout out to Jackson (sp?) at the pool - made our day!
