Pleasant stay. Nice pool. Free coffee in the morning. Walk distance to beach. Free parking around the resort. The resort is part of a bigger resort area and you can use the facilities from others. Complimentary beach towels. We had microwave, toaster and a fridge in the room.

Great experience, wonderful place to stay.Posted Jun 21, 2015
Pros: The cleanliness, the comfortable beds, the cold air conditioning and hot showers. The fact that it was so close to the beach.
Cons: The pool could be kept a little colder.
Location: The Beach is extremely close. Lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Deep sea fishiing, andn riding jet skis and parasailing.
The hotel was great, the staff was very friendly. The room was roomy and very clean. The air conditioner was very cold and the shower very hot. Everything was within walking distance. The Beach was fabulous and within a short walk. I will definitely stay at this hotel again and recommend it to all my friends. The price was outstanding especially that close to the beach! It was a great vacation !!

Perhaps overratedPosted Jun 17, 2015
Pros: Nice location by the beach; very friendly, professional staff.
Cons: The rooms themselves could use some upgrading, particular the washrooms and some soundproofing.
Location: It is right near the gorgeous beaches of Ft. Lauderdale, but not easy to find/navigate to if you are not familiar with the area.
I arrived late, past office hours, due to a flight delay. After seemingly forever to find the hotel complex, I tried to locate 2909 Vistamar which I was told on expedia to check in at. But that address doesn't exist. A staff member finally met me and said that 2900 Belmar is the actual check-in location. The guy who checked me in was cordial enough and professional. When we got up to my room, we discovered the door was already unlocked and wondered if it was occupied. It was soon apparent that the room hadn't been used in a while; there were several dead mosquitos accumulated in the bathroom sink. The clock also wasn't working. The room looked like it had hardly been renovated since the '60s. And the place is not well-insulated; you can hear the neighbors, even people from downstairs talking. The room was otherwise clean and satisfactory for a night's stay. I wouldn't want to stay there longer. But the biggest surprise of all was the $200 deposit which wasn't mentioned at time of booking or even during check-in, and which I only noticed on my credit card account the next morning. Note: TropiRock is just one of several properties in the area owned by the same company. The staff guys shuttle between them and are on call 24 hours despite the offices being closed during the night. The main door to the building is locked at night and requires an access code.

Für eine Nacht okPosted Jun 11, 2015
Hübsche Poollandschaft. Liegt nicht direkt an einer Hauptstraße. Jedoch ist die Klimaanlage sehr laut gewesen.

Second Time at The TropirocPosted May 29, 2015
Pros: Close to the beach Friendly Staff
It was me and my boyfriend's second time staying at the Tropirock. Bruno made checking in a breeze and our cleaning lady was extremely nice. Every day she always greeted us with a smile. I feel bad that I did not get the chance to get her name. We will be back again next year

A Cat Lover's ParadisePosted May 1, 2015 on Hotels
I've given a review for this hotel already. Although the staff were supportive, I wasn't comfortable with the stray cats running around, everywhere.
