very expensive

the place ia a dump and very expensive , place has nothing to offer ,its dusty , rusty and uncomfortable bed besides very noisy fr.club music its a mistake , I will not rexommmend the place for anybody I'd rather spend another hundred dollars to get a better sleep , its sucks finding how worse the place when u already paid and don't know the place well.

Close to the beach, place is horrible to stay

Kitchen is falling apart. Tile repair different colors, almost all of the outlets didn't work, just horrible place to stay.

After reading multiple negative reviews my expectations were low. While the room was adequte, the bathroom was not clean. The refrigertor didn,t work, and the towels whad stains. The exterior is very run down. Parking was a source of concern if you moved your car. The overall experience would not induce me to return.

Hotel sucked

Had to request towels. No wash cloths or hand towels. No shower floor mats. Static basic cable TV. The channels were less than basic. No room number on the door. Can't reach the air conditioner adjustments. One room key. Rude desk'person'. Would NEVER stay or recommend this rat's nest to anyone. I'm embarrassed to have taken my friend there.

The person at the registration desk was great! She was welcoming and very engaging. The room however was horrible. The walls were poorly patched up, the bathroom door was eaten away at the bottom, not good. It is a great location, nice bar and beach!

NICE VIEW

Pros: Location
Cons: Exterior is old, rusty, needs paint. Central a/c or at least an a/c unit that doesn't sound like your in an automotive manufacturing plant.
Location: Great location. Everything in walking distance. Beach directly across the street.
We got an ocean view room, had to pay an extra $20- a one time fee, and that wasn't bad. The Room was old, but fairly clean. The main thing was that the overhead a/c unit sounded like we were in a factory. It was so loud, we actually turned it off at night so we could sleep. The staff was friendly. We asked for a coffee maker about four times before we finally got one, and there was no coffee to go with it so we left it at the office- what good was it with no coffee? Duh. The exterior needs paint as there are rust spots all around. Location was really good, and the big question is would we stay there again. I'm afraid not. The price was good, but you always get what you paid for. Won't return.

Great location

Pros: The price and location.
Cons: Overnight security just to keep the party noise down.
Location: Lots a restaurants and bars, including coffee shops. The beach is right across the street. Very easy access to main roads.
Definately an old style Florida hotel. Room was large but simple. Kitchen was functional but very out dated, the stove was a hot plate but there was a microwave.

1940 Motel across the street of the beach.

Pros: stay away from this motel
Cons: no improvement necessary, it needs to be closed up
Location: Great location with many beatiful hotels nearby.
They call it Tropic Cay Resort, I call it an abandoned property across the beach, I was fooled by the nice pictures of the " efficiency rooms", efficiency?? there is only one room with the actual stove, the rest have an electric plate and one or two pots, dirty silver ware , and a roll of paper towels. The room was not ready at check in time, the lock was malfunctioning, we had to ask for towels, soap, shampoo, dirty floors, undesiderable upkeep , rust all over, doors with evidence that were kicked with dirty shoes, never again!!!!!!!!!
