Tropic Cay Beach Resort Hotel

It was a dump i have nevet had a worse. Roon in my life. Dont stax hereit was disapointing. It had a good veiw that was all very scary dump

I like it very much. The staff was excellent. They went out of their way for me.

Noisy, noisy, run down, air conditioning was not working

Dirty rooms, unkempt beds, filthy sheets and burned blankets, stained mattresses, peeling paint, stained chairs, inches of dust on furniture, lampshade. Not sure the color of tile in bathroom...at one time may have been white. Broken doorframe with a lock that didnt work. Positive staff missed the training on "customer service". It was a nightmare. Handicap ramp made out of plywood and doors painted with primer.

This hotel has a great location and price...that's about it. The safe did not work, and the refrigerator was hardly cool. I went with my brother for a hockey game/spring break so this may work for younger people that are just looking for a place on A1A and plan on going out alot. You do not want to hang out in the room. There was a nice little "tiki" bar attached and the bartenders were really nice. I would not recommend for couples, families, or business travelers.

DO NOT believe the pictures! The front desk clerk was rude and unhelpful. When we asked for clean towels, the ones provided in our room had hair in them:( he said they were all out. We asked for a blow dryer he claimed he had just given out the last three. The bed did not have fitted sheets and you had to sleep in the middle of the bed to avoid touching the matress. You have to pay for parking, the paint is peeling, the bathroom has black mold and I could go on and on. I tried to have an agent from Expedia call to cancel my second night and the clerk hung up on her. AVOID this hotel at all cost!!!! It is not on the beach, it is on the other side of the busy road. Other couples left the hotel early, it was worth it not to stay in this dump! It does NOT even deserve one star yet alone two!

Great Loction to the beach. Rooms and facilities need drastic upgrade.

The absolute dirtest place my family and I have ever stayed in. The only good part of our stay was the amazing staff at the bar. I would never recommend this place to anyone!!!

Excellent location, above average pool bar, access to the beach, Clean enough.

Old and rundown. Needs to be torn down and rebuilt. Only positive is that it sits overlooking the ocean.
