Pros: Clean and well kept.
Cons: Upgrade to flatscreen TVs with HD. Let the landscaping crews work later in the day instead of ruining the quiet mornings. Ban the leaf blowers!
Nice surroundings, easy freeway access, beautiful golf course views.

Perfect for a Birthday Celebration!
Posted Jan 17, 2013
Pros: Beautiful, clean rooms.
Cons: Nothing yet.
Location: Perfect location in Weston, and easy to find.
Reserved two rooms for my daughter's birthday and she and her friends had a blast. They had a great time at the pool. This was our first time trying Vacation Village since we already live here, but we are planning to spend another weekend soon. The rooms were beautiful, staff was very helpful, and front desk check-in process was awesome considering how long the line was. Everyone was super nice.

Spacious rooms
Posted Jan 8, 2013
I've stayed there many times and will go back again. However, upon check in my reservations weren't there which I made over a month before. After entering me into the system after check in time, one of my two rooms wasn't available so I checked back later. At 11:05am on checkout date, they were rushing us to leave the room regardless of the inconvenience that was caused during check in. I will overlook this time because I have had better service in previous stays but thought I should share.

Mistake find another place to stay
Posted Jan 8, 2013
Pros: Close to shopping
Cons: Management, smell
Location: Nice for families, many activities
We booked through Expedia which was great. We thought we were staying at a hotel. Turns out it was on of those places that tries to get you to buy timeshare. Ok, so we decided to make the best of it. We explained that we wanted to stay in a quiet area. We were told our room would be on the 7th floor however it was not ready. We said ok we will go and get something to eat. We came back by 5 my husband was given. Key to a 2nd floor room. I went back to speak with the front desk. We were greeted by Jazz who told us that our room was not ready that's why we were given another room, she told us housekeeping was gone for the day. She offered to check with the manager to see if we could move to the room the next day. In walks a female manager I'm so sorry I did not get her name. Long story short...after much back and forth, Ms Manager told me that just because we were given a room number we were not guaranteed the room because we were never given the key and the give their rooms out on a first come first serve basis. So the room was ready and was given to someone else. I was floored. Moral of this experience wait for your room. Also, the hall ways smelled like sulpher. The manager was so rude and argumentative. When I asked for the general manager's name it took. Few minutes to get the info. Find another place to stay.

Vacation Village at Weston staff are trained liars
Posted Jan 5, 2013
Pros: Previous stays at diffrerent modern well located building
Cons: the high pitched "Sales" lies from the staff
Location: Very difficult to navigate. After three days I still could not make a move without the GPS
WE WERE PLACED IN A DATED (1980's) unit, Even though I was assured by the reservation clerk that it was newly renovated. Massive old tv's (no flat screens) laminate counter tops, Cassette boom box radio and all the trims and frills to match the dated electronics. The unit was located in their Flamingo II building at Bonaventure about a mile away from their main building with surrounding superior buildings which I had stayed in before to my satisfaction (I was told by the check in clerk that these closer buildings Heron etc are in need of renovation). When I complained to the manager, I was told that they would try to re-locate me the next day and when I checked the next day I was informed they did not have any rooms available. So I spent the three days stay living out of my luggage anticipating a room change.Based on the above, I refused their invitation to consider purchasing a timeshare even though I was somewhat interested upon check-in. Since I made my booking through Expedia and paid in advance, I was unable to simply walk away and find somewhere else that met my expectations. I can only assume that they sell their worst rooms to Expedia etc at reduced prices that then translate to disappointing vacations stays.

Good hotel for a group of 6-8 people.
Posted Jan 31, 2013
Pros: Plenty of room and private balcony.
Cons: Check-in and check-out.
Location: Location is convenient to I-75 and the Sawgrass Mills Mall area.
It was more like an apartment than a hotel. The 2 rooms were joined by a private lobby. We had 4 adults and would have beem comfortable in 1 room. With the 2 rooms we had, it would have slept 8 comfortably. Check-in was a bit of a hassle. Registration was located a couple of miles away from where we stayed. Price was reasonable.

Ideal location for a family get-a-way.
Posted Jan 25, 2013
Pros: A feeling of home, great for family vacation.
Cons: Attempt to rope me into a timeshare sales pitch under the guise of a mandatory update and free breakfast for guests.
Location: Close to shopping but in quiet and relaxing surrounding area
This was my third time here so generally speaking I'm satisfied with the experience. Easy check in and check-out comfortable surroundings. The last stay prior to this one was not super. I would advise a family booking a stay here, if you want to have two adjourning units, one for the children and one for the parents, you need to specify and recheck each time to ensure that you dont end up with two units in different suits.

Good experience wish the tv was more up-to-date!

We enjoyed the stay, but would have appreciated better tv service. Our family members had modern flat screens in both their rooms and my family had rooms with very old televisions! Please update! We lived in Heron 2 . The service was great front desk staff were very friendly! Amanda did a wonderful job checking in my 4 rooms!
