Would stay there againPosted Feb 25, 2014
Pros: Location, size (small) ... no need to lock the room door even
Cons: while clean, one exception was the tile floor. did not appear dirty, but after showering then walking around room, we had blackened bottoms of feet
Location: within a couple of blocks of small shopping center with Dollar Store, Publix, CVS, nail salon, beach and town center with stores & restaurants
Stayed here for six nights. Was very comfortable. Beds were great. Kitchen tiny, minimally stocked but that was expected. Nice pool area, grill to use, room opened out to pool area. Other guests pleasant.

Neat, tidy and handy!!Posted Jan 2, 2014
Pros: Small, personal, room had good facilities and it was handy to everything.
Cons: It is probably a work-in-progress for the owners who are looking at maintaining a good hotel in an area that soon could be 'mega-hotel' swamped.
Location: Beach is one block, Publix is two blocks, town is 3 blocks with great restaurants and pubs.
This little hotel is within walking distance of all that Lauderdale-By-The -Sea has to offer - beach, shopping, pubs, restaurants, - and is neatly maintained in an area that is quieter then Fort L or Miami. A good 'wind-down' hotel and area for the persons needing that relaxing worry-free vacation.

Close to beach, shops and restaurantsPosted Nov 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
For the price, it's somewhat off the beaten path but still walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. Nothing fancy, and although I never met with the proprietor/manager, they were comfortable enough with leaving the key and a note, and so I was comfortable with not having to see them to check in or out.

Last night in Ft. LauderdalePosted Nov 19, 2013 on Hotels.com
Wonderful place and grateful for upgrade to larger room that unfortunately we couldn't take better advantage of by staying longer.

Plain and simple would be the best description. Friendly staff and clean would work as well.

An excellent conditions for a quite vacation. The hotel is right next to a wonderful beach and the Lauderdale by the sea pier and its attractions.

Excellent HotelPosted Aug 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
We do girl's weekends every 3-4 month - and have for about 5 years. We are always looking for a great place that is really close to the beach, has great staff and is clean and comfortable. The Villa Aqualina Boutique is EXCELLENT - we are excited to have FINALLY found a place that we will go to every time we come to the area for our weekends away.
