Nice little hotel close to the beachPosted Nov 19, 2014
A cute little clean hotel that was perfect for the one night stay. The gentleman working was beyond helpful and very friendly.

Pictures in the website was deceiving.Posted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: The location (close to beach, but nothing else there).
Cons: The "shared" washer/dryer needed to be updated.
Location: The location looked like it's in a seedy part of town. Nothing much there (not too much of a tourist area). Didn't feel safe walking around at night
We were initially given a room on the ground floor. The room was smaller than what was shown and newly renovated and smelt like it (fresh paint). The renovation must have been just the paint job, because the bathroom fixtures was still outdated. The door separating our room to the outside (where we can see people walking back and forth to the pool) was an old fashion louvered (frosted) storm door. It had one broken slat that was replaced by a piece of clear glass. The door did not close tightly, and we didn't feel safe in the room. We booked a room with microwave, coffee maker, and a mini fridge. We got the mini fridge and dish-washing liquid (No sink to do dishes though). However, they did bring us the other appliances after I requested them. They finally moved us to another room on the 2nd floor after they couldn't get the TV to work. At least the door closed properly there. In addition, we had 3 people in the room and they kept giving us (2) sets of towels every day. On our 2nd to last day, they didn't even replace any towels or clean the bathroom. In conclusion, the room was clean when we got there with (3) sets of towels, but it was downhill after the 1st day. The only good thing was the price. I guess you get what you paid for.

Traveling with friends, by the beach, and nice looking room that seems to be newly renovated with IKEA furniture!

Overnight stay after CruisePosted Aug 14, 2014 on Hotels.com
Decided to book a hotel as an extended vacation after cruising the Caribbean. This place exceeded my expectation. The property is well kept thete are two pools. The room where I stayed was like a studio apartment. Full kitchen, a nice back patio. I wished I was staying longer. It is not located far from the strip/beach, we actually walked. We had a late check out, no hassle. Overall I would recommend this hotel, and I would definitely stay here again.

Slightly DisappointedPosted Aug 3, 2014 on Hotels.com
Judging from the photos, I was looking forward to staying a the Winterset. While the staff was very gracious and helpful, the room was smaller than I expected. I would have liked to know, beforehand, that the facilities were under construction. It was inconvenient that there were no phones in the room - had to walk to the office whenever I needed something. I would consider staying again but I would wait until all renovations have been made.
