“very convenience location”
the shuttle service to NYC is very convenience. Just like you stay in NYC
“Good Value”
The hotel was clean, lots of parking, staff very friendly, very close to major highways and shopping. Kids loved the pool. We did not dine at hotel but nightly the kids had cookies from the front desk which they enjoyed.
“Bad location....”
Not recommend.... Hard to reach...
“Bad choice for a hotel.”
We stayed ther one week, the people working in the hotel had a poor attitude, if your are looking for a place that improve your vacation this is not your place. The shuttle service was ok for the price.
“Functional, but unimpressive”
Couldn't get the room below 72 degrees despite having AC on max, and not on a particularly hot day, either. WiFi worked but not for first 60-90 seconds each time I logged on (warming up???). Front desk staff clearly being trained as I checked in - the supervisor got everything done by correcting my guy over his shoulder. Surprisingly loud rooms - bring a fan or other source of white noise or you'll never sleep. Doors seem incapable of shutting without a bang, and sound insulation is fairly non-existent. Bed is very soft, room was clean, everything other than AC and WiFi worked well. Pretty standard room for a roadside motel - nothing like what I would expect at a Hilton - but functional.
“Impresssed until check out.!!!”
yes, i loved the hotel and its service i celebrated my wife's anniversary . until upon checkout , there was a incident where my vehicle was broken into thankfully nothing was taken but my windows were busted :( and cost me a bunch of dollars to fix. the hotel wouldnt let us stay for another night for a forgiveness of what had happened. if there is anything you can do please email back!!!
“would stay again.”
It was very close to NYC. It is much cheaper then staying in a hotel at nyc. Clean hotel, swimming pool is nice. they also provide shuttle service to nyc which is wonderful. Would stay again.
“Great location to commute to Manhattan”
The hotel is in a great location to park in Ft Lee municipal parking and catch a bus across the GWB. The staff was friendly and the hotel seems to be in a safe and secure area. No complaints on the room size and cleanliness. The only problem was the Air conditioning in this room was nearly non existent and the bathroom outlet did not work. It took three requests to get maintenance to come up and then they did not really fix it. The carpet was worn and should be replaced. Otherwise I was very satisfied with everything else and our stay was very enjoyable. Beats paying 2-3 times as much to stay in a smaller Manhattan room with a good chance of bed bugs!
“Great for "just a place to sleep"”
A great place to stay outside of the city but be prepared to drive over the bridge and pay to park. Or make sure you make a reservation with the hotel for their transportation. There is no microwave or mini fridge so prepare for that.
“Pedestrians beware”
The hotel is theoretically a healthy walk over the GW bridge to Manhattan, when I used to live in Washington Heights I could see it across the river. It however is inaccessible by foot to the bridge, and buses do not go near. Taxis from Manhattan will charge extra due to the tremendous distance needed to wind around the on-ramps to get to the hotel. The rooms themselves are clean and moderately decked out. The westward-facing rooms are facing a massive series of loud blowers atop the adjoining restaurant which blow well into the night. The windows do not open, causing problems for people who need fresh air. Parking, for those who drive- seems to be rather uncomplicated.
