Close to Transit

Posted May 20, 2014
Pros: The price.
Cons: Our room had no blankets, we were told they were still in the dryer. I had to call back and eventually go down to the front desk to get them delivered
Location: 5 minute walk to a very convenient bus stop that will get you across the George Washington Bridge in 5 minutes for $1.70. GW bar was FANTASTIC!
The employees were very friendly and helpful. The hotel room is a situation where you get what you pay for. The tv was set back in an old tv shelf so you couldn't even watch it from the far side of the bed. There were no blankets other than bottom sheets on our bed. There was no water pressure in the shower and you had to hold the handle of the toilet to flush it. The hotel is in a great location if you are going to a Yankees game. A&P 5 min walk away. Great restaurant beside that will deliver for free. 5 in walk to/from bus stop. It was a good experience.

It is nice as a quick access to New York

Posted May 10, 2014
Pros: Quick access to New York , and to transportation , big bed ... it could me more than king size
Cons: colors of blankets need to be changed to more cheerful colors
Near New York, you have your whole room and restroom, no shares, it is little noisy because it is near to highway, and don't expect much in the breakfast just tea, coffee and some snacks, the staff was good and friendly, and quick response from the staff to help me switching on the TV.

Cheap hotel, but staff needs to improve

Posted May 6, 2014
Pros: Easy access
Cons: Staff and bed cover
Location: NYC. Can tell anything else
Hotel is OK and there is an easy access from/to NYC. Didn't like the staff at the main office as she was a little obnoxious, felt like I didn't pay for the hotel and I was receiving a donation from her.

It's the worst hotel I've ever stayed

Posted Apr 27, 2014
Staffs look like don't care customer services. they just do internet. Kitchen table is just one and two chairs in the morning cafeteria. Even worse,if you go to there late, nothing left to eat. staff just said out of prepared meal.

Horrible

Fire alarm went off at 7 am because someone burnt a bagel at the front office. No staff was there just a post it note reading "be back at 8". It was literally the worst hotel experience thus far in my life.

True economy hotel

Posted Apr 23, 2014
Nothing fancy about this hotel, but it was clean and the beds were comfortable. Pluses: Affordable, Extremely convenient to George Washinton Bridge on foot or by car, Rooms had small refrigerator, microwave, and Wi-Fi, Staff very responsive and kind, Manager runs a shuttle service, GW Grill next to hotel was really good and more upscale than expected, Fort Lee Park and Visitor Center in walking distance and very enjoyable, Nearby A&P grocery store was excellent. Minuses: Traffic noise from bridge very loud, Hotel in need of renovations, Rooms small, No interior rooms, Shuttle service is in manager's personal, extra small Prius, Must take Port Authority bus into NYC, Free continental breakfast was basically non-existent and what few items offered were unappetizing.

loud near gwb

Posted Feb 9, 2014
Pros: fort lee location
very loud location near george washington bridge. perhaps only confined to my room, but television was set on a single channel and was difficult on changing the channel. ended up not being able to change the channel. you get what you pay for
