“Excellent choice”

I find this hotel and staff to be wonderfully pleasant and accomodating at the end of a long drive. Upon a late arrival, I was very hungry, and the desk staff was kind enough to locate a piece of fruit for me to eat before I went to my room. They always offer assistance taking luggage to the rooms and are very welcoming as they complete the check-in process. The entire hotel is clean and well-maintained and quite calming, despite being right on a major roadway. They are always happy to assist in finding restaurants or food delivery. There is not a on-site fitness center, but they do have privileges at a Gold's Gym only a short drive away!

“I couldn't believe this Hotel only got 2 1/2 Stars!!!!!”

Very misleading - the hotel was fabulous. Spacious room, comfortable bed, flat screen television, and the breakfast - phenomenal!I am anxious to stay at the hotel again and can't wait to go back. Definitely a five-star experiencel

“Perfect place for a family trip to New York city”

Paramus is only a 20-minute car ride to Manhattan. We went back and forth for the long weekend and saved a lot compared to closer hotels. The lobby looks great and the reception people were very nice helping us with directions to Manhattan. We had a room with 2 queens for the 4 of us. The room is extra clean, well-maintained and has very nice furniture with plasma TV, DVD player and wireless internet. The beds were new and very comfortable, they look like the ones in 5-star hotels. The breakfast is included in the price. It's a self-serve buffet with everything that you need except smoke-salmon and champagne. After breakfast we just headed to Manhattan and came back at night after dinner. Therefore we did not do anything in Paramus except for a good sleep. For a medium-priced hotel in a nice and safe area close to Manhattan, this Holiday Inn express is the perfect place to stay.

“Great for the price”

The room was very clean and spacious. I would certainly stay there again. I did not eat the breakfast as we had family in the area but it seemed like a good spread. We were right next to the exit, ice and vending machines and never heard a peep. Very quiet , we really enjoyed it.

“Surprising Service”

I was very impressed with the service at this hotel. The staff went out of their way to make calls to help me find transportation to the airport. They kept their hot breakfast buffet extremely well stocked with variety every morning. They immediately came to the desk when I walked up even though their office was behind the front desk.

We liked the room decorations, the bed, receiving a bottle of water without having to pay extra for it. The maids cleaned the room perfectly (although one day when we left the room after 12:00 Noon, they never cleaned the room). The desk clerks were very nice and extremely helpful with info re. getting to Manhattan as well as local directions for shopping and restaurants. Breakfast was pretty good too -- especially the yogurt, coffee and decaf tea!.

“Friendly Staff”

Very clean and comfortable with very friendly staff. The hotel is on a very busy highway (NY 17) with access from only one direction. Be careful and slow down before turning into the hotel parking lot. I stayed there for 3 nights on a business trip to Leonia. I would definitely choose this hotel again.

“Perfectly fine”

Paramus is a shopping mecca and a manageable distance from New York City and the surrounding suburbs. This hotel was well situated near a couple large malls, a half hour from a giant outlet area, and a pretty simple trip to the city. I would definitely stay there again next time I need to go back. One important hint: There is no shopping in Paramus itself on Sundays, so don't go and expect to stay right around the hotel to shop. We went to the outlets across the NY state line, which was fine.
