“used to be better”

As I said above, it was better startring with the bagels. The room is noisy the window mounted A/C heating unit comes on like gangbusters which means you get a chance to fall back asleep every time it shuts off, Also the "amenities" are at an absolute minimum. In short, the location is a stone's throw from where I need to be, and given the traffic of N.J. it is worth putting up with the downside(s)l

“Pets”

Hotel accepts pets. Dog feces in hallway and staircase, not cleaned up in a fast manner. Dogs constantly barking throughout the night.

Room was damp and had moldy smell. Room was below parking lot level and will not stay there again!

“it was bit expensive”

the location is not great. it is located on a highway and next to the restaurant. there was strong smell of food from the restaurant when i got out of car.

“Old dingy and in desperate need of remodeling”

Dingy interiors, wall paper and carpets included. Old televisions, no cable. There is no main entrance (front door) to lobby, only an obscure side entrance (weird!). The linen was clean but the bedspreads and the blanket on the beds were both full of holes from wear and tear. For the pricing, I expected much more. This is on a very busy highway Rt 17, so expect periods of heavy traffic if you need to travel, go out to dinner etc. Area shopping is a plus but remember the antiquated NJ Bergen County Blue Laws apply, so no shopping on Sundays... The ONLY nice thing that can be said, is the staff was very, very nice. All in all though, will not be recommended and I will not return.

“Great for an emergency overnighter.”

Very friendly front-desk. Good for the price. The room was a bit muggy probably because of heavy rain the night before. My dogs definitely had no problems spending the night here.

“A very nice, conveniently located hotel.”

My GPS brought me to the hotel, but I drove right by it, since I didn't see the sign. When I called the hotel, a very nice woman, who I think was the Asst Mgr, gave me great directions and was most helpful. (Note: if you're going to this hotel, watch for the sign for Hooter's Restaurant -- the hotel is just beyond it!)
