DecentPosted Oct 31, 2014 on Hotels.com
We brought a group for Scarowinds. Stayed one night. Had a late night at the park and woke up to no free breakfast. It was taken down at 9am! Staff was nonchalant and didnt seem to care much about anything. Rooms were clean, but had only 3 small pillows per bed (very small). Decent for price but should keep breakfast open longer.

Very SurprisedPosted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: Close to Carowinds, good price, clean. Decent breakfast
Cons: Wish they allowed pets.
Location: Literally at Carowinds
I was very surprised by this hotel, especially for the price and how these hotels usually are. The room was clean and the staff was nice. The halls had an odor, but that is due to age. You are also close enough to walk to Carowinds.

Disappointing.Posted Jul 26, 2014
Pros: Close to Carowinds.
Cons: Have the name of the hotel online match the name on the signs on site.
We were looking for The Sleep Inn at Carowinds signs, but we only found Econo Lodge plastic signs covering the mounted signs. Once in our room the AC was not on. It was 95 degrees outside, and felt the same in our room. The breakfast was disappointing. There was only whole milk, juice, cereal, muffins, waffles. Carbs, carbs, carbs. Fresh fruit, skim milk, yogurt, bacon & eggs would have saved me a trip to the closest fast food restaurant.

Convenient to CarowindsPosted Apr 20, 2014 on Hotels.com
Overall it was fine for our one night stay. The staff was friendly and the continental breakfast was good. Everything was clean including the bathrooms. On the downside, the rooms were somewhat small and did not contain a refrigerator which is a negative when you have children with you. The walls were also very thin and we could hear just about every word the people were saying next door and could hear their tv and we really don't think they were being excessively loud. The location is very convenient if you are visiting Carowinds.
