“Tiki Suites - A Nice Florida Beach Hotel”
Recently we stayed a Tiki Suites while in town for the Sandcastle Festival. It was a very nice hotel with courteus staff. It was very clean and all the rooms are suites. We only had a few minor complaints, but they would not hinder us from staying again. They do say that they have free wifi, but when we tried to use it, you needed a security code. We tried to contact the office, but since it is a small mom and pop resort, they do not have office hours 24/7. Also, we were told that you could use your room key to enter the office area after hours to get DVDs or use the business computer but our key did not work. The only other thing that would be nice to have updated are the TVs. They may be working on it in other rooms, but in our room we had two TV's - one in the living room and one in the bedroom; the one in the living room had cable, but the one in the bedroom only was useable with the provided DVD - no cable TV. Also, there is one room that does not have a patio or balcony, because it has a bigger kitchen, so if you want a patio or balcony - which is what they advertise, make sure you call to make so you do not get the one room that does not have it. Once again, this would not hinder us staying again. We enjoyed it and it was nice and quiet - well away from the hubbub of the downtown area and the Castle festivities that got a little rowdy throughout the day and night.
