“Great for a couple or small family”

We were greeted by someone who really cares about their guests and was informative about the weekend activities around town. Even though this hotel is surrounded by a lot of activity, it was very quiet. We loved the close beach access and within walking distance of restaurants.

It was so clean in our room that everything looked polished. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I would recommend getting a room with a kitchen because all of the hotels we tried were terrible. If we had made our own food in the room it would have been just perfect. There are grocery stores within one mile from the inn. You cannot beat the location and cleanliness of this hotel.

“Excellent hotel for a family!!”

My husband and I wanted to get away and to relax for a couple of days with our 5 month old baby. I did not want to travel far due to her being so young so we settled for a short stay. The owner was extremely gracious and accommodating to our needs. She placed our room in a shady location so we could relax by the pool while still keeping a close eye on our baby. The staff was so generous in making us feel welcomed that we will surly make this a yearly retreat. Due to us booking last minute we settled for a small room. Next year, we plan to reserve a large efficiency. But, for what we paid the accommodations were excellent.

Wow what a pleasant surprise. We arrived very late, room was all ready for us. It was like staying at a little B&B. Met the nicest friendliest people there. Literally, 30 second walk from the beach. Wonderfully quiet and relaxing. Going back again next year. Perfect place for couples, friends, families. Absolutley one of the best places I've stayed in my life. All the necessities. No Faux Luxury. Simple, clean and fun.

This small hotel is a gem. It is in an ideal location for those who don't want to be in the "spring break" area of Fort Myers, but still want to be within walking distance of bars, shops and restaurants. It sits on a beautiful area of the beach and the King Studio that we stayed in felt like home.

Sheryl greeted us with utmost friendliness and was most helpful! The room is amongst the cleanest we have encountered and was well worth the money! The bed was superb!

“A Real Find For A Family Beach Vacation”

As almost all other reviews for this property, we give a glowing reccomendation. The owner and concierge, Cheryl, was very accomodating and friendly. We had their 2 bedroom apartment and shared it with my 1-1/2 year old grandson and his parents. The rooms were immaculate and well-stocked with anything necessary for a lad-back family beach vacation. Balconies afforded nice views of both the well-kept pool area as well as the gulf. Just steps from the beach and within walking distance to a small supermarket and decent restaurants, the Beach Shell Inn proved to be a pleasant and affordable way to enjoy a memorable family get-away!
