From the time I opened the door to the room I couldn't have been happier with the view!!! For the price it was perfect. Unfortunately, the hotel was the best part of my vacation. I will definately stay there again whenever I visit Ft.Myers FL

“Low cost with views and grouper”

This is a great find. Almost every room above the first floor has a great view of the river, which is more than a mile wide, and over which the sun sets. The room is very nice and the bed is very comfortable. The parking lot side doesn't look very great, but all of the rooms face the other way, toward the river. There is a restaurant on site (Pincher's, I think)--a family-owned place that my local guest was quite aware of. The grouper sandwich was great--and really is grouper (the local authorities tested the DNA due to fraud at other restaurants). The staff is sweet. Altogether nice.

“way more than I expected”

I was very pleased with this hotel. Was fortunate enough to have a great view, the bonus of a microwave and mini-fridge, a larger than the normal double bed room. You know....usually you have just enough room to walk between the beds and the TV/desk?? WEll.....this room was definitely more than the 3 ft as usual. Only bummer I would say is that the restaurant/bar closed at 10. We arrived just before that time, so we had to walk 3 blocks to a sports bar.

“very nice”

What a lovely hotel. Its a mature building but they've done an excellent job of not just maintaining it, but keeping it updated. We've stayed here 6 or 8 times over the past 3 years or so and its always been more than adequate but, the rooms have recently been remodeled with an upscale flair as well as adding a work out room and a business center with internet connection in the main building. The pool area is alongside the river and is clean and gets plenty of sun. There's a charming little island-style outdoor eatery with bar and you could easily spend a pleasant day hanging out here. Fabulous views of the river from any of the upper rooms. Personable, attentive staff. Great place!

“Perfect for what I needed!”

I needed a hotel to stay in while helping my son move into a new home. After checking out other options in the area, I chose the Best Western due to it's location of where I needed to be and mostly because they offered balcony rooms. I had a deluxe room which was large and equipped with a microwave and small fridge. The balcony was large and nice to "come home to" in the evenings. The pool was very nice and wel maintained. Although I did not eat in the onsite resturaunt, it seemed to have a steady flow of business. I will definitely stay here again when the opportunity arises!!

“Impressed with this clean Best Western Hotel”

This was the nicest Best Western Hotel that we've ever stay at. The location was great, the room was very large and really really clean. I would defintely book this hotel next time we visit Fort Myers.

“Great place”

We were very well pleased with the Best Western waterfront. Our room overlooked the pool, the river and Pinchers Crab Shack. It was clean and comfortable, with restaurants, gas stations, even a Wal-Mart nearby. Easy access to SR 41 and on into Ft Myers via beautiful McGreagor Blvd. Would have been nice to have had Pay Per View movies available, but other than that it was great. Will definitely plan to go there again.

“Great View from the rooms”

This is a great hotel, rooms are very comfortable and the view is beatiful. The outside of the hotel is not well kept, it needs more work, same with the pool. Also the fact they have motel type rooms looks cheap for a best western; but is worth it. The room we stayed on was very spacious, seems to be renovated. They are a lot of restaurants nearby so is very easy to have a good meal, the hotel is also close to Ft Meyers downtown (Edinson state) and Cape Coral. Not the greatest place if your plan is beach.

“Wow! What a place!”

The question Expedia asked was, "Was everything as you expected?" My answer is no, things were better than I expected. MUCH better. We were expecting a run-of-the-mill property and instead found a jewel. We stayed in a top floor room with a balcony and a breathtaking view of the bay and Ft. Myers. The king room was huge with a large plasma tv. The staff was helpful, polite and accomodating, and the room was impeccably clean. My only suggestion to the owners is to find a way to make their property identifyable with a GPS as we had a difficult time locating it. But once we found it, it was worth the search. I'd highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stay when vacationing in the Ft. Myers area.
